That penalty for that moron coming out to celebrate is freaking ridiculous. That could wind up costing them the game
Heartbreak again for the Bengals SB Champs Rams 23 Bengals 20,it like the Bengals played to lose when there defense was awesome all game the end of the game was very confusing
Rams gifted a ring. 3rd down and hdong they call a dead ball penalty on tge Bengals for hitting a guy clean before he went out of bounds. No review because the NFL got rid of it. Rams needed a 4th down score to win and well never know. Congrats to thwm but the Bengals were the team that probably should have won. Also I know the Bengals got away with a facemask on their TD but Ramsey also got away DPI on 3rd down with jersey tug eariler. Reviews should never have been removed.
PS. I wasn't drunk but had to type on my new phone and hate it. Well I guess I was drunk enough to not drive. I'm keeping my typos how it is.
Biggest stage and one of the guys that will go down as an all time great makes back to back big plays. Talking about AD of course. His pressure on burrow forcing the final incomplete toss is getting all the love but his stop on third down preventing the first was just as huge. Its easy to see when you watch Donald play why he is in the DPOY conversation every year.
Congrats to the Rams. The talent deficiency for the Bengals showed up in the second half when the front 7 of LA simply physically outmatched the offensive line for Cincy. If you're a Bengals fan you look forward to some chances to improve the offensive line and watch a future NFL star develop at quarterback. Considering the weapons that the Bengals have and what the coaching staff was able to do with the current roster, the ceiling for 2022-23 has to be considered one of the highest in the league. Get some help on the line, continue to add talent to the defense (Eli Apple hurt last night, but he surprisingly was a key player in the playoffs) and there's no reason not to see a healthy Bengals roster making a deep run in the playoffs.
Aaron Donald was huge but Von Miller after being quiet showed up late too. Cincy did well besides a banged up o-line until it got late and they started with some more exotic blitzes.
Our rule is that if there is a grab and twist and turn, there's enough for a foul," NFL official Robert Torbert told PFWA pool reporter Joe Reedy, adding the officials saw no twist-and-turn of Ramsey's helmet. "If there's just a rake across the facemask, where there's not a twist and turn even if there's a grab, there is no foul. The officials did not see any contact that rose to the level of a foul for a 15-yard facemask." Thats the explanation on the no call on higgins facemask. Guess all wide recievers nned to learn the straight pull down facemask move
And on the other side... after making himself a candidate for Jackass Of The Year, Eli Apple committed a PI to put the ball at the one yard line and was then beaten for the Lombardi-winning touchdown. Karma.
I feel like that’s one I got right. Only funny because it turned into a fairly heated discussion. I forget a lot of things 3-4 years later, but this one I didn’t.
AD says thatbthe bengals woke hime up after his clean play where he shoved Burrow out of bounds. Several bengals came up after the play shoving him and apparently running their mouths a bit. Burrow himself told AD it was a clean play but he paid the price for his linemen running their mouths. "That number 77,” Donald said, “he did a little talking, so I wanted to show him how strong I was. “Pretty much bowled him back into the quarterback. You wanna start pushing and saying all these words to me? I like a little competition. We can play mean. Let’s play mean. I had to show them. They got three points out of it, but off a short-field turnover, we fought.” You can read the article here Aaron Donald shares what Bengals did to wake him up in Super Bowl LVI Some might have considered it ticky tacky but I feel like the refs could have flagged the bengals for unsportsmanlike conduct when they came and shoved AD.
I don't think there is a player more publicly shunned by his fellow players in the league. I mean is there anyone even close?
