I liked Bell also but thought he would be a good rd 3 pick, he's got good hands out of the backfield also.

I hope they address the ILB position at some point.

So there first two picks they brought in for visits, we need to take better note of that.

Maybe they are both dead wrong but I'd have a hard time describing Brandt and Kirwan as stupid. Plenty of really good LBs over the years couldn't make the transition from the 4-3 to the 3-4.

Maybe Brown has a bright future, maybe he doesn't. I was just offering another opinion because everyone in here seems to be really high on him.

 

For the record I would have gone with Jonathan Hankins but I like Bell.

 

The lions are having a good draft. Really rate Warford and I still think he can be the best guard in this class.

 

Everyone compares Escobar to Gonzales but it has a somewhat to do eith them being of similar Heritage JMFO

I didnt say they were stupid I said or alluded to them acting stupid, momentary stupidity is not permanent but it seems to be rampant. And the switch inside is not that hard, and you and I have seen enough line backers to know that, infact playing inside at the second level is easier in the 34 than the 43. I think this is a great pick, it would be a totally different story if we intended to use him as a rush or something which i doubt we do...well not consistently anyway. it was more than a rounds worth of value in some eyes - just a stellar pick, easily the best of the second round. and possibly best thus far.
