Peyton Wilson. CBS seems high on him. It's a need, somewhat. Would've liked a DB

Well, yeah. He's the best ILB in this draft. ACC Def. Player of the Year. And he DOMINATED the Combine. There is no question that he has top 50 talent. It's the health stuff that is the red flag. But, with all those issues, he didn't miss a game this past year. The Steelers had him in for a visit. I assume he passed all of their tests and inquiries.

Of course it is a concern, but remember that Hines Ward never played with an ACL in his left knee. He lost his ACL as a child in a bicycle accident and played his entire career without it.

My Cedric Gray pipedream is over with the pick of Wilson, if he stays healthy, look out. Pittsburgh will be a new look D with some huge upgrades at Talent at ILB.

 

I like TJT, KAD, and CH. I don't know who KJ is here.

 

I like DTD. I'm not as enthusiastic about DR-- lots of track speed but nothing else.

 

There are still two DLs who visited the Steelers and who are projected as 7th rounders. We might target one with our final pick in the 6th. Otherwise, the D-line is pretty dried up at this point. There are a couple OLB/Edge guys that are worthy of consideration as well.
