just came out mock today. The run on CB's was insane in this one. 4 of the top CB's gone before Pittsburgh selected. That left the window open for OL. Choice of Mims, Fantanu, Barton, or Jackson Powers-Johnson. So to the best of my ability and going by the board I put together. In order Barton, Mims, Fantanu, JPJ. Every simulaton I run I go OL, WR, CB targerts being Barton, Legette, Sainristill. Once all those boxes are checked off I look at 98 and 119 to get a tackle like Fisher, although I am learning he's average. It is better to wait until 119 and get Foster. Sometimes I am lucky enough to Sainristill at 98 but not lately, even at 84 it's getting harder. Slot CB options other than Sainristill are Lassiter, Green Phillips, Melton. The two WR I am starting to focus on are now Roman Wilson and Ricky Pearsall. Wilson had the best success at getting seperation and is a Tomlin fan. Pearsall checks every single box and Baldinger is a huge fan. Baldy is one of my favorites on NFL network, he tells it like it is without being bias.
Two guys you should have on your board middle rounds. Cornelius Johnson Michigan and Jordan Wittington TX. Corny Johnson had limited production with Michigan based on their style of offense but he's a good prospect. Wittingham is the only other guy to check all the boxes for Steelers WR criteria. see link below for that. I am starting to get bleary eyed reading all this crap on Depot, NFL.com, PFN, everything but....... PFF. Fuck them 24.99 they can shove it up their ass sideways. Don't get me started on ESPN.

watched path to the draft, and NFL total access with guest Mullet head, Really did not learn much but I picked up some bread crumbs. Bucky Brooks has a sleeper RB out of Troy, Kimani Vidal good to know. Two other centers they seemed to think will be NFL starters in time. Hunter Nourzad Penn State, and Drake Nugent Michigan. Interesting how on DJ and Jackoff Kiper have similar thoughts on JJ McCarthy. They have him 15 on Mullet Man's board, and 20 on DJ's. Projection is he will be over-drafted. Me I am seeing a good QB but not an elite talented player. Just not enough tape to say "I want that dude". Is he another Mac Jones, who wasn't given the weapons or protection, not sure. But Mac Jones sucks, I said it 3 years ago, still holds true. It wasn't a personal attack, I just saw a QB surrounded by NFL talent @ Alabama who projected to be a backup. If you want to see what Mac Jones became, just watch the tape in Frankfurt vs The Colts Jones threw a ball right to a defender 8-10 yards short of his target right in the red zone. . What I don't have is the look of disgust on Hoodie or Kraft's faces, I will try and find it., I have it on my phone though it was classic. I knew right then and there Hoodie was done and Mac Jones was not coming back in 2024.

Round 2 is going to be WR if they don't get Sutton from the Broncos in a trade. For me I would offer Leal and a late round pick. Running simulators again, Logan Lee in round 6 has good odds, I like the fit. I am wondering if Maason Smith is the next Jarron Gilbert who if you remember jumped out of a pool . Had crazy measurables, just never amounted to much, taken early third round by Chicago, I think he played in 4 NFL games. That was an "aha" moment for me, a guy 6-5 290 who ran like a deer and jumped like a Gazelle doesn't always equate to NFL talent. For his measurables, Smith really didn't produce and I would not use a second day pick on potential and measurables. Hope he has a solid NFL career and proves me wrong. To be fair, Tristin Wirfs also jumped out of a pool similar style he has a been a rock solid OT since he first stepped onto the field.

The best part of that episode was bringing back up Bill Polians response to what Kiper had to say and reiterating what everybody else thinks of Mel Kiper... yeah, you're still on TV, but his thoughts and opinions don't matter or hold any weight because NO NFL team would ever hire him

    CBS top 100

CBS's Ryan Wilson 2024 NFL Draft Big Board Player Rankings | NFL Mock Draft Database

just a different perspective to look
at. Major differences from what I’m seeing on most sites: Sainristil @37, Kristian Boyd @ 88, Max Melton @90. Look for the purple boxes marked “rare” for other prodpects not normally rated that high.

for example I was able to grab Kristian Boyd @ 178, 90 spots later than this CBS board on the simulator

    I’ve gotten so
Used to the pro football network draft simulator that it’s possible some for my picks would be different. Cedric Gray goes in the 70’s almost every time Luke clockwork but there’s mocks and boards out there with him going in the 4th. That would be a sweet pick
    @ 119 along with Ty’Ron Hopprr .

another sleeper bread crumb form Bucky brooks is OLB Mohamed Kamara from Colorado State. Also around the 119 range

Dane Brugler's 7-round 2024 NFL mock draft: Predicting all 257 picks

    the breakdown:

    20. Graham Barton OL
    51. Roman Wilson WR
    84. Blake Fisher OT
    98. Bralen Trice OLB
    119. Jarvis Brownlee Jr. CB
    178. Kitan Oladapo S
    195. McKinley Jackson DT

    20. cannot argue Barton over Mims but....... check back in 3 years we will be saying FUCK or PHEW.
51.I cannot get upset about Wilson, he is a Tomlin favorite and Pearsall was gone as was most of the top WRs
    84. Here is where I go, um NOPE Even though Fisher was a 30 visit guy. ,Kris Abrams-Draine (99) and Renardo Green (144) were available here
    98. Ok Cedric Gray is availiable, pull the trigger they can wait on OLB.
    119. Two choices here for OT, Javon Foster and Christian Jones. You can get also a pass rusher here in Muhamid Kamara too.
    178. They do need a safety but Jaden Crumedy Mississippi State is available, and he was part of the 30 visits.
    195. Jackson is a solid pick, doubtful he lasts. If they did not address ILB yet, I get a jet pack and rocket my happy ass up to the podium and grab Ty'Ron Hopper.

The Steelers value OL/DL more than WRs. They know they are able to find a guy in rounds 2-3. Not the same with the trenches for them.

Just ran the simulator again. if you trade back too far, Barton and JPJ are gone. Well I slid back to 31 and picked up 63 and a 2025 7th. . Slid back from 98 to 108 picked up 157.

    31. Zach Frazier OC WVa
    51. Darius Robinson DE Missouri
    63. Payton Wilson ILB N.C.
    84. Mike Sainristil CB Michigan
    108. Blake Fisher OT Notre Dame
    119. Jamari Thrash WR Lousiville
    157. Tykee Smith S Georgia
    178. Jordan Whittington WR Tx
    195. Jaden Crumedy DT Mississippi St.

Addressed both lines with 2 players. Got a CB, S, an ILB, double dipped at WR. At 51 I just could not pass up Robinson. Wilson at 63 was just too good a value. Wish I could have taken a WR earlier but they got snapped up quickly

I just think Barton is a better selection, as is Mims. and JPJ. Roman Wilson is a solid WR who led the nation is separation success. If you pass on Center, you are looking at moving up to get Frazier, losing draft capital. Other option is reaching for SVP or settling for Nourzad, Limmer. The way the board falls, you can wait on WR but not Center. The real draft I dunno, some pundits suggest they are over drafting OC the same as QB. When in reality the value is OT WR and CB based on fiscal responsibility over the Center position. .

CBS just put out a mock with Thomas as the 20 pick. I hope they don't do that. OL is such a glaring need and WR seems deeper to me.

Crazy enough I just did a twist. No way in hell am I passing on Terion Arnold at 20 with all the top tackles gone and I got Frazier at 51. I also had another where I took Brian Thomas at 20. Then I traded back from 51 to 59 and took SVP. Then I took Sainristil and Booker and still got Fisher.

    Today’s simulation
    27. Graham Barton
    51. Cooper DeJean
    66. Jalen McMillan
    84. Ben Sinnott
    98. Mike Sainristil
    119. McKinley Jackson
    178. Javon Foster

Sinnott is not a need but I’m telling you he screams Sam LaPorta . How the fuck was DeJean there at 51 dunno took BPA Pearsall and Wilson gone so McMillan was next best WR . Jackson is an animal he will collapse the pocket and stuff the run. Foster was a team captain with 46 games played in the SEC

The I pulled names out of my ass and forgot to wipe my hand, mock draft ^

who is this jackoff? what did he smoke or inject? Here is someone you need to take out into a field and disembowel them with a wooden cooking spoon (George Carlin)
    20. Talise Fuagua about the only pick I liked but it allows the top 3 centers in the draft go between 21-38, and SVP goes 75 so better strategy would have been sliding back a few.
    51. Ennis Rakestraw ok pick but passing on Troy Franklin,. other options were Xavier Leggette, Edggerin Cooper, Payton Wilson and Corey Lassiter, I just see things differently I like Rakestraw but Franklin is better value
    84. Will Shipley RB don't even get me started with taking a RB with the 3rd pick.
    98. Brandon Coleman OG TCU yeah we need another fucking guard he is also rated late 5th, early 6th. so yeah put some more hash in your brownies.
119.Tanor Bortolini C a bit late for huge hole Tykee Smith and Jordan Travis went soon afterwards. So yes count them 3 OL in 5 picks, is this guy retarded?
    178. Curtis Jacobs LB daphuc is that. where is the DL help buddy? Kristian Boyd goes the very next pick and he was in for a visit. This is just laziness I cannot stand.
    195. Jha'Quan Jackson WR oh so now you pick a receiver on the last pick. Whatever you smoked pal, you need to dig up Nancy Reagan so you she can tell you "Just say no "

3 round mock, a little better. Barton gone at 17 forces you to go Center at 20 IMHFO

    20. Troy Fantanu not a sexy pick, he has got the long arms, @21 there goes Jackson Powers-Johnson, you snooze, you loose. And down goes Frazier, down goes Frazier at pick 38.
    51. Kam Kinchens S Miami. Apparently you did not watch the combine and Kinchens is the 5th best Safety on my board. Better options still available: Ja'Lyn Polk, Roman Wilson, Ricky Pearsall
    84. Renardo Green about where he should go. Mike Sainristill available.
    98. Jermain "I slap women" Burton WR OH HELL NO. I got him off my board. This is not worth my effort to see BPA because it only goes to pick 100 and too much work to see BPA for a non live event.
