I agree, we all saw Michael Williams, the slow blocking, TE, smoke him into the endzone.

anyone interested in a fun competition on this draft? No prizes, just pride and slamming Kiper continuously.

you start with 100 points and get a point taken away with each numberr you are off per question. In other words if your answer is 45 and the result is 56 you lose 11 pts. Let's see how good we are.

    1. How many Offensive Linemen will be taken in the first round. ______
    2. When will Manit Te'o come off the board, at pick # _________
    3. How many RB's will be taken in the third round________
    4. How many QB's will be taken in the second round.
    5. Name the player that will be the 50t overall pick_________ (if he goes 75th you lose 25 pts.)
    6. How many trades in round one? ________
    7. How many WR will be taken by pick 62?
    8. How many CB will be taken by pick 62?
    9. Which round will have the most LB's taken?
    10. How many times will Mel Kiper mention a fraction of an inch when describing a player's height in the first round. (someone else can count, I will be watching NFL network, we'll take your word for it. )

This was posted on CBS, I have several guys enter, I may post this as a seperate thread on here, LMK if there is interest.

Maine, I'm with you about Bailey. I know that is a highlight reel but I like his effort, nose for end zone and it seems like he can hold on to the ball.

Maine, you are pounding the table for Steadman Bailey, I can buy into that. The Tavon Austin kid is the most dynamic weapon in the draft, that is not only NFL network, but the VP of NFL Films, Greg Cosell saying that, This guy views football tape for a living. Unlike the clowns at ESPN who view tape for a Ponzi Scheme. :)

So, bites, if Austin can somehow hold out till #17 he's a pretty sure lock to replace the WR losses we've had so far this pre season ? If not, does Bailey keep a good enough profile to either replace Austin or do we try to hold off for another round ... say round 2 ! ? I can't imagine he lasts any longer than that and I know he's already been to Carolina.

    MoS

Dittos Mex, he's bigger than Austin and has remarkable hands. As you saw in the Highlights...

    MOS,

down at the bottom of the post you are replying to there is 3 icons in the lower right corner. Report, Quote, Share. If you click on quote it does the work for you, in fact it displays the poster you are quoting to the rest of us.

Will Austin replace Wallace, not the same type of WR, but maybe a better fit for Haley. Me thinks he is gone at 17 and I would rather look at BPA and not lock into WR in any round. Round 2,3 seems right to me. I would kill to hear the conversation between Kevin Colbert and Mike Tomlin on Alec Ogletree. I could not agree more with Charles Davis and Brian Baldinger who said on path to the draft last night that Star Lotulelei and Alec Ogletree are the two best Defensive Players in this draft. One could argue for Dion Jordan, and the potential for Ziggy Ansah is staring you in the face. But if Ogletree's box is checked off by Colbert, I think he helps the team as much on Defense as Tavon Austin helps them on Offense. Star will be gone top ten now, with some of the QB race being decided in free agency.

Thanks for the posting tip pal ... I'll need more as you see fit. I guess I'm just jumping the gun on WR's since it seems we lost more than we may or may not be able to afford, Sanders isn't really gone yet, and if he plays like his first two years it's all good ... I'm definitely all about great defense, and I'm also good with in Kevin We Trust .. he really is pretty darn good ... so I'll just sit back and relax ... but I got ants in my pants for this draft and season to get going !

And what's not to appreciate listening to you guys who delve and fact relate with the best of em

Gidion, you have to pick someone for question 5, think WR or CB, those would be good choices.

I am with you MOS. I think Bailey in the 3rd round gives you more value at that slot than Austin in round one (from a Mountaineer fan). In fact, I would trade up in the 3rd, if necessary, to get him. He lead the nation in receptions and TDs. Very good hands, runs very precise patterns.

I hate the Draft and everything associated with it. In fact, the only reason I came on this thread was to tell you all, you will never see me on this thread.

    Again.

Fair enough as long as you hate ESPN and Mel Kiper even more! ;)

My favorite clip in the highlight reel is the one against SU, caught the ball over his shoulder, great awareness of where the sideline was, managed to stay in bounds and tightroped to the end zone.

Burghball calls his neighbor and says, "Please come over here and help me. I have a killer jigsaw puzzle, and I can't figure out how to get started."

His neighbor asks, "What is it supposed to be when it's finished?"

Burghball answers, "According to the picture on the box, it's a rooster."

His neighbor decides to go over and help with the puzzle. Burghball lets him in and shows him where he has the puzzle spread all over the table. He studies the pieces for a moment, then looks at the box, then turns to Burghball and says, "First of all, no matter what we do, we're not going to be able to assemble these pieces into anything resembling a rooster."

He takes his hand and says, "Secondly, I want you to relax. Let's have a nice cup of tea, and then," he said with a deep sigh "Let's put all the Corn Flakes back in the box."
