Can someone else see any DL player with a BPA scenario at 20? Newton, Murphy and Robinson are not fits as far as I am concerned. Some of these picks are whack on crack. Cowboys moving up to 13 for Penix? Someone just scored a kilo of black tar heroin perhaps.

DE or OLB ? I don't think he has the arm length for a DT5. Reading up on Eric Watts, has the length and high character. day 3 guy.

 

Well let's put a new mock out, probably not going with all my bang the table guys, that is too easy. *Projected trade for a 3rd round pick from Arizona for Dionte Johnson. I also think Kahn slides back in the 4th to get a 5th, but let's just guess they get a 3rd for DJ. Some of these guys may go earlier, but not everyone goes earlier or as expected. So here are some thoughts and then open the link below each pick to see why I had interest.

1. Amarius Mims OT Georgia you cannot discount the value of a NFL tackle, get him on the cheap rookie deal.

2. Zach Frazier OC West Virginia coming off a broken leg in 2023, he showed up at the combine ready to do drills. As a D-1 wrestler he was almost unbeatable. Think Carlton Hasselrig.

3a.* Ricky Pearsal WR Florida Sleeper pick, hope he lasts, all indications is he is getting snaps early in his career.

3b. Max Melton CB Louisville I don't think Mike Sainristil will be here, Melton has an outside shot. Good Slot CB, something they have missed since they let Mike Hilton walk.

4a.Cedric Gray LB North Carolina. I think he plays faster than he tests, 360 tackles in 3 years is production. He has coverage skills than can be coached up.

4a. Jordan Travis QB Florida State injured, should drop to round 4. QB room needs talent. Omar the Kahn Artist may even slide back and get a 5th rounder to nab this cat.

6. Logan Lee DL Iowa A guy this big running a 6.87 cone has great footwork. A piece of clay for Karl Dunbar to work with.

7. Eric Watts DL, UConn. Double dipping here. tested very well, hard worker, needs to put on NFL Muscle. Long arms and frame, very high character.

Let's break this down. I think the author ate a bag of 420 gummies.
1. QB WTF. McCarthy at 3 over Drake Maye huh maybe Maye doesn't go 3, but McCarthy isn't going 3rd overall.
2. OT Latham and Mims lasting until the mid 20's, Fuagua lasting until 18. Author really undervalues these tackles. And his order is messed up, Fautanu goes way too early IMHFO.
3. WR. Ok we know Worthy is fast, but he is not a first round receiver. Franklin is a talented WR, but 27th overall is pushing the envelope. He has a slender build that scares me.
4. TE Brock Bowers, lots of mocks have him falling into the teens. Not sure if it is people undervaluing TE or his less than ideal size. Kyle Pitts went 4th overall, but Atlanta is wasting him with lousy QB play, ordinarily I would say Bowers is a top 10 pick.

Is there a Way to love this mock?? I’d pretty excited with this draft, especially if mims can stay healthy.

 

I think worthy goes earlier than expected because they will fall in love with the underwear Olympics. Look at the majority of guys that are at the “fastest” guy, and the majority did nothing. People will envision him as the next Tyreek Hill and over draft him, I just hope they’re retarded enough to do it before pick 20.

I’ve noticed Bowers dropping on a bunch of drafts as well and think to the right system, and don’t waste his talent ie; falcons and Pitts. Just look at what LaPorta did with Detroit

media seems to be falling in love with McCarthy, personally, I don’t see it either, if Harbaugh was running an NFL offense at Michigan, I don’t see them saying the best way we can utilize the 2nd coming is hey hand the ball off every play and not throw the ball more. Don’t know, just don’t see it.

 

Am I missing something on Cooper DeJean? I see a lot of rankings with him ahead of the 1 or 2 I think most of us feel are the best. I know he hurt his leg last year and was good prior to that. Is it just people not really updating their rankings?

Dionte Johnson would have been a good receiver for Wilson to throw to. Now we have to draft a WR.

JPJ , Franklin 1-2 actually makes sense

 

Tomlin and Kahn were at Georgia's pro day,but not at Oregon. I cannot remember Tomlin going out west actually. Remains to be seen what this really means. Obviously most of us want Powers-Johnson, or Mitchell, but the target might be Mims. On the other hand, Kahn cannot be at every pro day and signing players to Free Agency, his phone must be lit up like a Christmas Tree. Pat Meyer did work out JPJ, that is a good sign. Franklin at 51, not sure who will BPA, but if they do go with JPJ, then Frazier is out. Another thought is they are still interested in Van-Pran. and the safeties Bullard and Smitih. Going back to Franklin,willing blocker, I think DJ soured the coaches on that fumble and his lame ass excuse. So any WR I put on my board will have to have some physicality to him, willing to block, team guy. Another round 2 guy, if he lasts is Xavier Legette.
