NFL.com has us taking 74 with 31,28,29,48,49, off the board but 18,19,20,33,37,38, 39,40,47,49,51,&56 still available

Looking at highlights of 187. He does have a decent arm. Look intriguing. Of the two this guy looks better. They gotta get a guy to push Batch out.

Steelers signed Larod Stephens-Howling today. Any changes?

 

With the team getting at least two a 3rd round and maybe 4th round compensatory picks plus some other for Mendenhall, Mundy and Allen any chance we see them trade one of their picks next year to move up?

 

The 7th would be Keisel I believe. I think he made the Pro Bowl in 2010

 

Well considering you cannot trade a comp pick, I doubt it. Unless a guy the Steelers love falls and gets close next year, they probably stay put.

 

I dont think this changes a thing.. He's more of a ST player - returner... and not a feature RB... We still need one.. depth only here.

I know they can't, but they also have a 3rd and 4th round picks they can still trade.

And LSH won't be a featured back but I think they found their return man.

 

The NFL network said we had 7 players we drafted on our roster who made the probowl. If you count Burress when he made it with the Giants that is 8. These guys are morons, just because he played with the Giants when he went to the probowl doesn't mean we didn't draft him and have him on our roster now. Kiesel went in 2010.

 

I really like this signing. Another low-key, unsexy Steelers signing, but he's not chopped liver. Arizona could make Walter Payton look like trash.

I think this puts the kibosh an a Denard Robinson selection. I still wouldn't be surprised, however, if we draft an RB today.

I agree, but I wouldn't be saddened if we finished the evening with 42 or 53 either.

 

I actually think drafting 2 safeties is not out of the realm of possibilities. It depends on who they take at 48 I think most of us would agree on 18,31,33,28, 29 those would be solid choices
