It could be worse. We could have Trubisky starting.

That 2021 draft middle rounds is starting to look like some misses.

Loudermilk is not expected to make the 53 man neither is Kendrick Greene. Harvin is a 50/50 shot with Mann in camp. Roche has left once, probably PS squad if at all now that Golden is in camp. Johnson was a project but they keep bringin in ILB to upgrade, not warm and fuzzy on him unless he goes wild on ST.

Just watched the Oilers game from 1992, Bill Cowher's first as HC. Some things I saw in that game from players that were just starting out or that were not there in 1993. Kirkland was a rookie, he came in but not on passing downs. He eventually replaced Hinkle. My man Warren Williams didn't carry the ball match, he was a Noll guy. But....... he made some key plays on ST. Barry Foster and Merril Hoge were pretty good backs it was a numbers game. I remember Duval Love being a solid LG after watching that game I know why they drafted Brenden Stai in 1995. Man, Love had a horrible game. The 1988 draft brought in Dawson and John Jackson two good pieces of the OL and in 1992 Tunch was still playing RT. Noll's last draft had one of the biggest busts in his tenure, Huey Richardson.

FB Monte F’n Pottebaum quit after 3 days? Daphuc is that. Kwon Alexander now in the LB room adds experience & depth . Dave Bryan was talking Pottebom up to be this hard nosed guy from Iowa . If I ever want to know what crow tastes like I’ll ask Dave!

George Pickens: 'I Feel Like I'm The Best [Receiver] In The Whole World' - Steelers Depot

Article on Pickens and how he thinks he is the best in the world. On the one hand you like his confidence on the other (because I'm old) you want him to just shut up and play.

I got a feeling he will be one contract with the Steelers and done because he is probably going to want to reset the market on WRs. Could be wrong of course he may be loyal to the Steelers for drafting him when others passed but he just seems to check off all the boxes for DIVA wife receiver.

The next article on SD was about Pickens making a ridiculous catch over Porter Jr, one handed horizontal from the ground.

There was a lot of clutching and grabbing, but regardless that was one hell of a catch. JPJ learns the nuances of covering a WR like him and the practice will pay off in a huge way.

Herbig is impressing people in camp. Having a 4th edge guy means good depth . Also Fehoko is clogging up the middle and I like our ILB group much better than last year. One of the biggest surprises of camp is McFarland who is improving his chances on the 53 with good routes, hard running, and solid pass pro

Comes down to this in the 2024 draft im looking hard at Georgia and Wisconsin . Basically those 2 schools were the first 4 picks. Much more Georgia players in 2024 however so I’ll add another school like Ohio State over Wisconsin.
