We raked in the Georgia offense and the Eagles raked in the Georgia defense. When you think about it Georgia was a really good defensive team so who knows how good their offense really was.

Mason Rudolph resigned with the Steelers. Good move he is a proven commodity at a vet friendly price and a team familiarity.

PPG has gone way downhill without Ed Bouchette. First Dulac says they won’t resign Rudolph and then said then won’t draft a TE. With horrible “inside” information like this it’s no wonder they are panhandling for readers. Stick to Labriola, Depot, and Wexell for accuracy not The Pittsburgh Poser Gazette

Mark Gorcek retired was a scout for 28 years. Enjoy your retirement bud, you earned it. FYI he was Joe Montana’s Center in high school .

Darnell Washington wearing 80, since 0
Is not available as a Steeler. If he lives up to the potential I think he has Mr. Rooney may just give him the 0 option. Unless he blows out a knee I can see him as a fan favorite .

Is there a specific reason why the Rooney’s won’t give away the number 0?

They don’t want the player to feel low self esteem.

It’s just how they do business the league ok’d it for teams but Art Jr. Has a standard, a code, they don’t change coaches or hand out certain numbers. Once in 1984 a journeyman Lb named Todd Seebaugh wore #59. After that mistake they never made it again. 7, 12, 36, 52, 58, 59 are not retired but are not going to be worn again. 32, 70, 75 are the only officially retired numbers .

Also glad they didn’t piss away a draft pick on a wing & a prayer QB in round 7. Trice and Anderson have a legitimate shot at making the team. Chris Oladokin is likely flipping pancakes at IHOP. That was a fire up the caddy pick and was likely influenced by the untimely death of Dwayne Haskins.

    Anyhoo I’m still
Pissed Colbert wasted two rounds of picks trading for F’n schmucks. And they just released Witherspoon and Malik Reed was never a factor. The pick in round 5 (151) should have been Karl Brooks. He went 179 overall top of the 6th.

you watch he will have a good camp and

The Steelers are going to surprise people this season which shouldn’t surprise anyone. Pickett will play a lot better and the running game should be a lot better with the retooled oline. We improved everywhere on the field through FA and the draft. The defense should be top five and the offense should be in the top half of the league. This team is going to push for the division and have an outside chance to get home field advantage in the playoffs. The Bengals changed their safeties and not for the better. The Ravens are under the delusion that Lamar Jackson can light the league on fire throwing the ball more, the Browns are still the Browns. The biggest challenge for the Steelers will be the Chiefs and Jaguars and maybe the Jets if Rodgers pans out. The Bills are going to backpedal this season while the Dolphins don’t have an answer for what to do if Tua continues with the concussion issues. This season actually sets up well for a Steelers team that is on an upward trajectory. 13-4, 14-3 isn’t out of the question for us this coming season.
