I thought the war board held up really well tonight Only a couple of players taken way out of their ranked spots, and that comes from the way it unfolds. Then there were a couple of reaches but otherwise you guys did a great job once again! At least, so far...

Fluker went higher than we projected big time.

Mingo was the other. The run on OL threw off the first round a little and very nearly put Star Cantspellhislastname right into our laps.

  6. Beach, I was comparing Elam to Cyprien...its not close, but ur right bout Jones...he plays huge vs the big teams...he will b solid for many yrs...will only get bigger and stronger once he is in a NFL system and not worrying bout class, parties etc

  7. I'll be pounding the table for 28. I doubt they go with 39, a little disappointed because I liked him but I'll take Jones instead.

Don't sleep on 51 going then either

  8. Wheres this list again....I hope one is Woods or Minter

    Weaknesses

One-year starter. Inconsistent using his hands to disengage from better blocks and to beat cut blocks from running backs in pass pro. Lacks an ideal frame to get much bigger and doesn?t have the growth potential to the bulk teams want at the position. Will need to prove he can stay with NFL ball carriers in space when dropping into the flat. Not particularly smooth in deep drops. Doesn?t have elite bend around the corner, and could use a spin or other counter move to keep tackles guessing. Missed the last five games of the 2009 with a neck injury, part of his senior year in high school with a broken thumb. There is some concern about his long-term durability due to his spinal stenosis condition, the same ailment that has caused some players to call it quits, including Marcus McNeill, Chris Samuels and Michael Irvin.

  10. OK and find Mingo's weaknesses since he went ahead of him at OLB

  11. Give me Jones over Mingo all day. Once the Browns start losing Mingo will probably quit on them like he did on LSU at times.

would Colbert go 18 if he's there at 48, I sort of doubt it. I also think 17 makes a lot of the other OLB luxury picks and they go in another direction

I agree, I didnt like Mingo either and dont give me that Mingo is good because he went early to the Browns BS.

  14. Highly doubt it. After listening to him rip on the running backs I could see a RB, especially 51, tomorrow (today actually).

How about this, what if 45 is there? All the teams that were supposedly interested in him passed on him.

he takes plays and takes games off.
can't hold the point, gets engulfed by tackles.
his production did not equate to his potential
he is a lean body, the Steelers look for stout guys like Woodley and Harrision

but Colbert had him higher, so it's not my place to argue, just specualte on my take.

  16. I think Mingo is weak and will get eaten alive vs OT's. I just wanted to see his weakness like u did Jarvis.

Jerry Jones is the new Al Davis.

  18. I could see Mike Adams eating Mingo alive in the run game.

    31, 38, 48

    51 would be really nice
