Exactly right now some people think he will go top 10...I already said there are only 1-2 teams who would draft a DB in the top 10 and I feel they have other pressing needs...that took me to Miami and Carolina..if he gets through those 2 teams Pitt has a chance for him at #20

 

You compared it to Derwin James being selected at 17 and referred to is as a slide, which is simply wrong. No matter how many times you go back to it, it's still a bad comparison because it is fundamentally wrong.

But I'm pretty sure you are trying to suggest that it would be a 'Derwin like slide' if Greedy tumbled all the way down to Pittsburgh.

There was no 'slide' for James.

My saying Derwin's market had him with a cost relative to where he was selected has everything to do with his perceived worth and nothing to do with his actual value.

The fact that James could have been the #1 or the #32 player on any team's war board has nothing to do with the projected value that he carried going into the draft.

The idea that Derwin was rock solid in his rookie season and will likely outplay his selection at #17 overall has nothing to do with his perceived value and selection area because that occurred post-draft.

Your personal evaluation has nothing to do with his projected market value (you considered him top 10).

If culture is really an issue and for the record I don't believe it is... that means AB has to go and Ben has to be muted. The weekly radio show needs to be talked about before they extend him.
