Steelers Draft and Mel Kiper sucks thread!!

  1. Wouldn't be surprised if the steelers make a play to trade up in the second if a db They love is within reach.

Also is olb completely off the table today? If derek rivers, tim Williams or tyus bowser falls to the steelers you can never have enough impact pass rushers and with bowsers skill set in particular you can do a lot of things even quick him inside.

Then with the strength of the corner position you can still get a good prospect in the third, They like shaq griffin a lot.

I think years from now Steeler fans will see who was a better pick between TJ Watts and Reuben Foster.

I understand Foster might have been off the Steelers board, but if he turns out to be a HOF'er it will be a glaring error. IMO

I think the medical evaluation had something to do with it

I'm with Demo. I doubt Kizer will be there when the Steelers pick. If he is take him.

I doubt its completely off the board, but it would seem unlikely unless there was nobody else there of similar value in the secondary or even a receiver/TE/RB.

  6. Yeah I agree, It's a shame tho because from a numbers perspective I think a good one should be there for the steelers second pick.

  7. I'm not gonna be here for the second day so here's my predictions.

    Marcus maye
    Shaq griffin
    Shaheen

    If the steelers trade up

    Budda baker
    Shaq griffin

If Davis Webb falls to our rd2 pick I believe he will be Ben's understudy.

Positional wish list for day 2?

    62: CB

94/105: Any two of the following - RB/WR/TE/ILB/CB

When did I ever say I wanted that bum?

    Oh wait...

Why yes, I agree, good Smurph, my friend! Deshone Kizer, Quarterback, Notre Dame would be a wonderful pickup for our beloved team! He's a franchise passer in the making who would be able to throw passes to Antonio Brown, Wide Receiver, Central Michigan with tremendous proficiency! At 62 he would be a bonafide steal!!!

Is it just me or does watching this draft remind me of watching paint dry? This is hurting my head with the production of this. Speed it up, BS less, Show the picks and his qualities and move the #### on!!!

I don't know how ESPN is covering it, but on NFL Network they're pandering to a casual audience that doesn't exist. They need more cons to go with the f***ing praise. Every pick is wonderful to them.

Amazing how the NFL is "concerned" to speed up the game, but they drag this out as long as possible. Maybe they need to worry about this a bit more.

    I don't watch ESPN either.

Steelers pick is getting closer. Not much chatter on here.
Whom do you think?? Whom would you like?

I'd like an ILB, but it doesn't look like anyone fits at this point in the draft. The injured Michigan TE? WR from Penn State? Double down at OLB with the KSU guy?

Sorry to see Tanoh go just before us.

I think we're all sitting on our hands in morbid suspense at this point.

Some people are going to be disappointed that Awuzie is gone right before us.
