He's made himself some money this past week. If he runs a sub 4.6 40 at the combine, all of you will be right.

There weren't a whole lot of players that stood out to me but I really didn't pay attention to the trenches much, the Steelers are in good shape for awhile.
Well maybe depth at Center should be looked at.
    Zay Jones can catch.
Davis Webb has an arm with touch throwing down the field along with size and good pocket presents.

With Pouncey's injury history I wouldn't mind grabbing a backup center in the 4th or later, or even in FA. Finney was horrible at center and I'm not much of a fan of Wallace.

I think Wallace is a FA so stay tuned.

My first thought is no... He did not impress... I'm guessing he'll be a UDFA....

OK Watched the senior bowl - play was alittle sloppy and it took a while for the offenses to get going.... thoughts on players:

Kareem Hunt RB Toledo - I really like this RB - probably early 3rd day pick - real nice balance and runs with purpose

Matt Dayes RB NCState - also has nice balance - runs hard

Tanoh Kpassagnon DE Nova - good week of practice - had a real nice game - abused Botsnawny OT from Pitt during passing downs had a sack and lots of pressure He may go late round 2 - still very raw - but I think he's upside potential is huge

Jordan Willis DE Kansas State - Big mover for me on Saturday - 2 sacks - lots of pressure - the north OLine had no answer for this kid Need to see more tape -

O.J Howard TE Bama - top 20 pick - He wont be there at 30.

Ethan Pocic OC LSU - Solid Olinemen - someone mentioned about drafting a Center.... THe kid from WVU impressed too.

Danny Isidora OG Miami - reminded my of Brandon Brooks from a few years ago - same body type - real solid player

Alex Anzalone ILB FLorida - Has real nice lateral movement - smells the football. Good tackler.. His problem has been his injury history - can he stay on the field?

Montravius Adams DT Auburn - strong player - but where does he fit?

Eddie Vanderdoes DT UCLA - very strong player - pushes the pocket -- need to see more

Derek Rivers OLB Youngstown State - Brought pressure - had a sack I think - good motor - COuld be a nice 3rd day sleeper pick

Tarell Basham DE Ohio - Had a nice week of practice - disappeared in the game

Dion Dawkins OG Temple - reminds me of R.Foster for some reason - nice player

Desmond King CB Iowa - here's a guy with a 2nd round grade - I was not impressed and I hope we stay away

Zay Jones WR East Carolina - Has nice hands and catches the ball - not overly fast - but can separate - My problem - has the Diva stamp.. I'm sick of Diva WR's - see A.Brown Odel Beckam, etc....

Cooper Kupp WR Eastern Washington - nice hands good routes one of the best WR and polished WR in Mobile

I thought Webb looked the best at QB - but he was not under the pressure that Peterman was.... The South Dline brought it all day - I'd be surprised if any senior Bowl QB being drafted on day one or 2...

    enjoy,

Webb is one of those QB's like L.Jones.
Pick him in the late 2nd or 3rd round and see if he developes.
He has all the measurables, nice touch and placement when throwing deep.
Like you said he could fold if he gets pressured and knocked around but we won't know till we know.

Jordan Willis DE Kansas State - has had good had production but at 6-5 260 I think he fits better as DE in a 4-3 scheme.
Not sure if he can drop into coverage.

heard the steelers were interested in this kid:

Derek Rivers OLB Youngstown State - Brought pressure - had a sack I think - good motor - COuld be a nice 3rd day sleeper pick

I may be wrong with my assessment of Jordan Willis.
I read he was 6-5 now I'm reading 6-3 and has the speed neededicated to be OLB so.. looking forward to the combine

The 2017 Scouting Combine starts February 28th through March 6th.
Looking forward to seeing g some of these DL/OLB run.
Also a few of the QB's throw.
Webb is said to need his mechanics adjusted but has the rest of the intangibles.
Safety could be worth looking at as well

This is a deep safety class with probably 6 players that could come in and be immediate starters.

  12. rarebreedsj Franchise Player Steelers

I'd like to see one come in and learn behind Mitchell for a year or 2 before taking his job.
I don't like Golden and Dangerfield is good for debth and special teams so..

  13. Campbell Administrator Manager Commissioner

Do you have an eye for any particular safety that could be had from round 3 or 4 on?

  14. rarebreedsj Franchise Player Steelers

I think the Steelers need a center fielder so to speak which is why I want to see some of these guys run.
Also, Desmond King is going to make a better Safety than CB in the NFL his stock wI'll drop if he shows mediocre at the combine.
Someone like Marcus Williams Utah would be a great pick up.
Great ball handling, good tackler and is coming out a year early so he can grow with the Steelers for a year or so.

Can you imagine if they had drafted him in the first round? He was one of the guys I was hoping for in 2014, followed by CJ Mosley. If people hate the Jarvis Jones pick, what would they have thought about Gilbert?

  20. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

Uh . . . We DID draft him in the first round. Along with Johnny Manziel !!! *WALL*

    Feel better now?
