Steelers Draft and Mel Kiper sucks thread!!

I'll give you Landon Collins, but that weight on taller guys isn't the same thing. None of those guys look like Ryan Shazier in build.

I mean Mike Mitchell is 221, but he's not built like Ryan Shazier.

 

Ok so mano, what do you think about scouting safeties for our war board this year?

 

Well, I don't think Safety will be a position they focus much on in this draft. I think they like the pair they have. There might be a depth pick in the later rounds but thats about it.

 

Mitchell will be turning 30 in June.
Harrison is freak ( in great way ) so I don't think there is a comparison there.

We don't know who will drop so there could be a real potential within the first 3rds.
If you want another position, maybe CB ?

I don't mind taking a position group, but let's just focus on the playoffs while we can. Once the Steelers are done playing, hopefully in February, I'll be happy to start scouting a group.

 

The senior bowl is on the 28th
The NFL Combine starts on Feb 28th

James Harrison is 240 seeing them 2 side by side there is no way Shazier is even 230. He is shredded though.

James Harrison is NOT 240!

That was his weight when he came out of college, but he's at least 260 now. I have seen reports that he's up to almost 275 lbs of pure muscle.

I disagree. Elvis Dumervil was listed at 5'11" and 260 lbs when he came out and Harrison looks bigger than him, don't you think?

Obviously the coaches don't know what they're doing! Shazier is terrible, I don't care that he's set a record for most consecutive games with an INT for a linebacker. They gotta put Williams in because this defense has been playing awful ever since Shazier got healthy! *WALL* *WALL* *WALL*

They played well inspite of Shazier.
He was out of place multiple times.

I know that interception he got tonight was a magical play. That backflip catching the ball with his feet was amazing

 

I asked once before and you didn't answer...why is it that he's still playing then? Why do Tomlin and Butler continue to trot the inferior player out there?
