    There is the return guy

  3. I assumed he must have special team ability because at 5"9 and running a 4.7 forty he's gonna struggle being a wr in the nfl.

Scouting report looks pretty good...maybe he can get AB off of punt return duty...needs to work on his blocking but sounds like he has good hands and good ball security...didn't face much competition in college, but he should have a shot at the 5th receiver slot

Anyone know about this kid? He is suppose to be a return specialist but he is small and slow.

What did they give up to get him?

Take a look at the Demarcus Ayers highlight package, this kid is a punt returner and knows how to make people miss after the ball is in his hands, has good RAC yards.

Almost to the end of the draft now. One more pick just a few minutes away. Late round picks rarely make it through, but I can see the appeal and upside of each of the past few picks. Let's hope a few work out.

That's CB, S, DL, OLB, OT, WR/KR. The only box not checked is RB. I wonder if that is where the team goes with the last pick.

Then it's the scramble of UDFA.

Who? Ayers? That pick came from a player trade last season, if memory serves me correctly.

Trade that sent Brad Wing to the Giants

  11. Yeah Brad wing I believe.

Only one more pick before our last choice. No one else seems to be on the forum.

I'm wondering why 58 is still on the board?

And our last pick in 2016 is Tyler Matakevich-- ILB from Temple. Productive at the college level, but will it transfer.

Someone to compete at ILB since Sean Spence left.

This is the first draft in awhile that the Steelers didn't select anyone from Ohio State...looks like a solid class but time will tell...

Congrats on this pick, Matakevich is one of my favorite players in this draft. Size could be an issue, but otherwise the kid has the biggest motor and heart in this draft class...

    *DRINK*

  16. What worries me about this draft is there's is a hell of a lot of boom or bust guys near the top of the draft for my liking. Typically the steelers go for more of a sure Thing in the early rounds.

Mr. Irrelevant coming up momentarily, and then it will be time to put the draft to bed for another year.

  18. NCSteel69 Franchise Player Steelers

And the draft ends with the Titans picking Mr. Irrelevant-- Kalan Reed,, CB from Southern Miss.

And that's a wrap. Talk to you guys later to discuss the Steelers' picks and the upcoming season.
