Ok so what is wrong with Billings?

 

IMO nothing. In the opinion of NFL teams I guess they believe he's strictly a nose tackle.

 

I've wondered about that-- maybe there is something on him that the teams know but we don't.

On the other hand, he's built to play nose and there just may not be a big demand for that spot right now. My primary concern with him is that he is not position flexible, which is almost a prerequisite these days.

People on Facebook were complaining that ESPN was in a commercial when the Steelers pick was announced

 

I think the overall depth at defensive line is making Billings drop, but it could be something else. Gotta think Dline, LB or WR in the 3rd.

 

I don't think he is but maybe it's the Ziggy Hood / Square Peg Round Hole thing. He's only 6'1" with 33 inch arms and doesn't have that initial burst that Rankins has.

Personally, I think someone's going to get a steal but I'm an amateur and I know it.

 

Run on safeties , at least Colbert is trying to fix the secondary

 

Played both CB and safety. Checks every box:

1. Size
2. Speed
3. Intelligence
4. Physicality

He was Carnell Lake's #1 safety in the draft.

 

Wow! Davis over Bell ?

 

Will be interesting to see how that unfolds. I liked Davis a lot.

Had I not taken a safety in the first round of the MnC mock I probably would have taken Davis in the 2nd round.

 

I like the Ravens pick. Coach's son.

 

QB Cook was mocked in some drafts as going to the Broncos in the first round. How far will he drop? It'll be interesting to see if the Bears can pass him next.

 

You guys think the DL from the FCS will be there when we pick?

 

Will they take him if he is? Another 6'1" guy with 32" arms. Purely a NT?

I'd like to see defensive front seven, preferably on the line, but what do any of you think of 64 or 66-- offensive guys the Steelers have shown definite interest in?
