    28. Potential. Developmental-- could become good. Feels like a reach of desperation for the next CB. That's unlike the Steelers.

bronco's trade up so let's not talk about the steelers pick NFL network.

Who is Artie Burns? Never heard of him...

could have traded back... heck, seattle did one spot behind us.... they had their mind set on him because they wasted no time what so ever..... and just think, I didn't think I would be upset with whomever they got.... That's why they get paid to do this

History suggests the Bengals take the player that has the twitter GMs buzzing. The Steelers take the guy they had targeted months ago. I suck at evaluating CBs so I'm gonna take the same approach I took when they took Shazier.

Yeah there was no hesitation there... hey shazier we all complained about and he's turning out great so lets just give it time.

Mayock or someone said he could go in the first might have been Michael Irving

mayock actually thinks Burns in a couple years could be the best corner out of all of them.... not sure if I agree but un the steelers we trust

seattle got an additional 3rd round pick for moving down... steelers should have taken that deal.... I think Burns would have been there, if not a stud D line man would have been

Definitely no secret the Steelers like physical CBs who can play zone. That's Burns' MO. Only time will tell but I like the idea of adding Golson and Burns to this defense. Now we need some help on the d-line (or so we all presume). Wexell ran into McCullers at the Steelers facility the other day and had this to say...

He has insane upside, can track the ball, good speed, but needs to work on the technical side of things which he can learn. At one point i had him number 3 on the CB's, i think i had jackson just ahead of him but it was close.

I truly believe he is a good pick, i would have taken him in the early second anyway

Looks like a player...can't really make a judgement off a highlight reel, but looks like a willing tackler, decent ball skills and fast. Level of competition a concern?

You could be right of course but there's absolutely no way of knowing that. Always frustrating to read, "Should have traded back." You simply have no way of being sure that was an option.

He's a good CB prospect who has been rising. Early in the year, he was projected as a 2nd rounder. Some mocks this Spring had the Steelers taking him in the 2nd. But in the past few weeks, he has risen up the board to be a border-line 1st/2nd round pick.

Good size. World class track athlete, so he's got more than just speed-- he's got jumps and burst. He's physical, too. I think he led the ACC in interceptions last year (someone can check that). But he has been burned on occasion, is a bit grabby in coverage, and scouts think he needs work on his fundamentals of footwork, back-pedal and angles.
