I was just reading Jalen Ramsey had 0 into last year and his ability to get his head around to find the ball is in question. Red flag ?
Has anyone here at live4 watched him play?

I don't think it's a bad idea but The Steelers have bigger needs on defense.

The passing game should be fine with Brown, Wheaton, Bryant, and Coates.

p.s. Should we open up to outsiders? Don't think any other fans do this and there are some pretty smart guys in MNCs. I'm good with it but understand if some of you would like to keep it to Steelers members only.

I don't follow college much except Pitt and the big names but I do follow the Steelers and defense is what they need!

I am writing a series of collaborate articles on each NFL team where I and someone else would answer a series of questions about a particular team's offseason, draft needs, outlook, etc. I need a Steelers rep that would like to volunteer on this. It wouldn't take too long and it would just feel like answering a forum question or debate. Normally I would PM someone in particular but honestly many of you would do and in that case it'd be better if I asked who wants to give it a shot.

 

Noah Spence is accelerating up draft boards. I was kinda hoping we'd have our chance at a steal, but it's not looking possible anymore. Just another talented player doing talented things.

My latest (secret) mock has him going mid-first.

 

They passed on Randy Gregory and Shane Ray last year. If given the opportunity I think they would pass on Spence as well.

 

I know the Steelers need defense but I don't think I would oppose drafting Ryan Kelly C from Alabama.
Plug him in at LG and move him over to Center if Pouncey misses time.
This would give the Steelers arguably the OL in football. At this stage of Bens career it's a good idea.
Of course this is just my opinion.

 

Like the idea but think I would rather go with someone like Christian Westerman in the 3rd or Graham Glasgow in the 5th. I think there is going to be a really talented DL or CB at 25 this year whose ceiling will be too high to pass up:

Jarran Reed
Vernon Butler
Eli Apple
Mackensie Alexander

 

Billings would be ideal but won't make it to us ( hope im wrong )but I'd be ok with all of those guys although the CB's scare me now, it's rare to get one like Revis or Peterson.

 

Well, most mocks have the Steelers picking a DB in the 1st round. Now Pete Prisco has the Steelers picking Howard Jackson III out of Houston while comments about him are he's a 2nd rounder. Bruger and Rang are still going with Apple. Is Prisco an ass? We already know the answer to that!
