huh? that doesn't seem right? people list items and overprice them, so does that mean a brady autograph is worth $1000 bc a seller says so? no. the price guide on the card, maker, year and scarcity dictate the value. the 1999 brady rookie signed when he's wearing a michigan uni is expensive and the most expensive is a super bowl tix stub card signed by brady. the rest are overpriced and in the middle of the range. and manning has more autograph cards in the market than brady so of course his aren't worth as much.

pfft all that proves is some people have more money than brains. Sides brady himself said Joe was king.

as an ex-collector who sold his collection last year, book value starts the process, not the history books! but since i met Joe Montana in person and he's a ND grad and legend and I'm an ND fan, it's all good!

Fish, I've seen some Topps Ring of Honor cards (SB MVP's) start at $0.00 and go into the $700's this year. They actually went waaay up from $400 to $500. And I didn't see where they ended at because I have both, so I didn't care......I also have the Steelers SB MVP's, haha.....2 Bradshaws, Santonio Holmes, Franco Harris, Hines Ward and there is none of Lynn Swann. The only player I think that didn't sign one. Swann doesn't like to sign and is a hard one to get of any card......I need 5 for the whole set so far. It's one of the biggest sets on the market today and is worth a ton......

He or Billings would be very nice additions.

I know this is pretty random, but there are 119 members online at this moment. Not too shabby for a Friday night.

That's awesome. I'm a collector as well, but sadly I have not been lucky enough to get any of the ROH autos.

Of these five prospective first-round players, who would be your choice?

    Andrew Billings
    Jarran Reed
    Noah Spence
    Sheldon Rankins
    Jonathan Bullard

Haven't seen all the measurables, but I lean toward Billings. Only 20 years old and at 6'1" may get a little better leverage than the others. I think the team needs more help in the middle than at the ends, and we already have McLendon able to play DE effectively.

    After him, Jarran Reed.

Sorry But Noah Spence is way to big of a risk IMHO.

I lIke Reed but wouldnt be disappointed with Billings.
Kenny Clark should be on this list.

When Billings blows up the combine he'll probably erase any chance of falling to 25. But he's my 1st choice. Jarran Reed is a nice player too.

Drafttek released their ranking of needs per team. They use a scale from 1-9, with 1 being an absolutely major need and 9 not being a need at all. According to them, the Steelers have no 1 need, but their biggest need is ranked 2, and it's OLB.

  15. I dont agree w this...Jarvis Jones and Bud Dupree will b really solid OLBs....Jones had 29 combined tackles and 2 sacks in 15 games....pathetic, but in 2 playoff games he had 9 combined tackles and 1 sack...however he was used in these 2 playoff games needs 2 stay moving forward...Dupree had 4 sacks and countless pressures in his rookie yr...he will only get better....Im still perplexed secondary isnt being mentioned as a major issue w this team...272 yds game and thats facing QBs like Hasselbeck, Manziel, McCarron(2), Mallett, Davis and Osweiler...6 backups

I had that same reaction, but then I took a step back and thought about why they did that. Jarvis Jones just finished year 3 with the stats you just gave. He could be another Cameron Heyward in the making, but in most circumstances, if a player isn't getting it by year 3, he probably never will. That said, I really don't want to give up on him, but it stands to reason. James Harrison is nearing retirement and Arthur Moats is a career journeyman who is giving us the best he can right now. Bud Dupree will get better, but all his sacks, that I saw, were unblocked and came on blitzes. Dupree showed little ability to get off blocks once he was absorbed. And Chickillo is a special teamer, which is what he may always be.

I don't want the Steelers to take an OLB in the first. If they settle for someone like Kevin Dodd, hopefully they ask him to gain a little weight so he can play DE full-time. But I can see the logic behind that thinking on a general scale. It's just not the Steelers' M.O. to "fix" a need when there are more than enough young bodies at the position already.

  17. Jones missed most of his 2nd season correct? So technically, last yr was yr 2....he does need 2 make more plays no doubt, but I wuld give this yr and see what he does....Dodd abused Bama OL in that title game...he can easily gain 10-15 lbs on a 6'5 frame...only problem is do u want a 1st round pick as a backup? I think Pitt needs 2 focus on NT or secondary

Based on this season, "backup" is only a relative term. If they plan to have 4 rotational OLBs who pretty much split the snaps, you want the best talent you can get on the field at all times - so you would want 4 starter ready players. Easy to say, hard to do.

Dupree will take more snaps next season, so Moats can rotate to the right side if needed. He's no pro bowler, but I think Moats is more than capable of carrying the load if somebody else goes down.

In my opinion Jarvis Jones is good but not great. If Noah Spence was sitting there I highly doubt the Steelers would pass on him unless some new character flaws are exposed between now and the draft. From what I've read the kid leaned his lesson and cleaned up his life.

I agree with Beach that Billings is probably going to explode up the board.

Demo mentioned Dodd from Clemson. After watching him against N.C. , Oklahoma, and Alabama I think he might be one of the more underrated D lineman in this draft. I was extremely impressed with him.

Would love to see either of these guys at 25. Billings would be first choice but I doubt he will be there at 25.
