I don't like AB returning punts either. Needs to be addressed as does punter and I'm going to take it 11 years Suisam is gone and keeping 1 year Boswell......Will wonders never cease that Boswell was not on a team!

You've got think how there's only 32 kickers every year. So many kickers come out of college each year as well. How many of the good ones simply never get chance? Who knows, what if Suisham never gets hurt? Does Boswell still land on a team?

I need to see the freaking war board. Lol. Trying to keep up with all the posts.

Just saw a mock where we take Darian Thompson from Boise State in the first round. Anyone a fan of him? I actually got to watch a few of their games this year due to their odd time slot. He always was making plays.

As an exercise in futility, I threw down some names in a 1st round mock based on perceived team needs and the 1st/2nd round prospects from CBS. I wanted to take a look at what may be available to the Steelers by pick 25. Bear with me, and tear this apart as needed (and probably deserved)...

    1. Tennessee - Joey Bosa DE
    2. Cleveland - Jared Goff QB
    3. San Diego - DeForest Buckner DT
    4. Dallas - Su'a Cravens SS or Zeke Elliott RB
    5. Jacksonville - Jalen Ramsey FS
    6. Baltimore - Laremy Tunsil OT
    7. San Francisco - Ronnie Stanley OT
    8. Miami - A'Shawn Robinson DT
    9. Tampa - DeForest Buckner DE
    10. NY Giants - Myles Jack
    11. Chicago - Laquon Treadwell
    12. New Orleans - Mackensie Alexander
    13. Philadelphia - Carson Wentz
    14. Oakland - Zeke Elliot RB or Su'a Cravens SS
    15. LA Rams - Vernon Hargreaves III CB
    16. Detroit - Taylor Decker OT
    17. Atlanta - Shaq Lawson
    18. Indianapolis - Jack Conklin OT
    19. Buffalo - Darron Lee OLB
    20. NY Jets - Leonard Floyd OLB
    21. Washington - Robert Nkemdiche DT
    22. Houston - Connor Cook QB or Christian Hackenberg QB
    23. Minnesota - Taylor Decker OT or Cody Whitehair OG
    24. Cincinnati - Jarran Reed DT
    25. Pittsburgh - AVAILABLE:
DT - Sheldon Rankins, Andrew Billings
DE - Noah Spence, Jonathan Bullard
CB - Eli Apple, Kendall Fuller
    S - n/a

Do you go with the #5 DT here, or the #6 DE, the #3 CB? Or the #5 OT? At this point I think we will be somewhat disappointed with the first round pick this year. Nobody jumps out at me at the end of the first round. What do you guys think?

I'd be extremely happy with either Billings, Fuller, or Apple. I think a guy that could possibly join the mix is Austin Johnson. A very big body that could excel at stopping the run and putting pressure on the quarterback.

Bullard is a 3-4 DE while Spence is a 3-4 OLB. Bullard also doesn't excite me very much.

Tough call. Of those six? Andrew Billings, I guess.

    A'shawn at 8 is a bit high.
Last time I looked he was concuidered a 2nd Rd pick.
If the Steelers took him 25 I probably wouldn't complain though.

If they take Apple in first Kenny Clark might still be there in the 2nd round.

    StlCrtn...what atrocious bet did you lose??? :! :! :! :! :! :! :! :!

It was a H2H fantasy bet among 2nd year QBs with SPress. He had Carr, I had Bridgewater. Not thrilled, but I honor my bets that I lose.

I just did a mock where we end up with Jarran Reed in the first. For reference, the Browns pick Laremy Tunsil, the Ravens pick Ronnie Stanley, and the Bengals pick Corey Coleman. Reed is a two-gap defender who's very powerful and handles the dirty work on Alabama's line, so it would be a great pick.

    Until the draft...I think

I don't see it except when I go to my profile too. That definitely helps lessen the pain of the avatar change.

Also a lot of people use their phones to check out this site. You don't see any avatars on the phone.

You should be seeing avatars after the last update. What type of phone do you use?

Using the good ol' desktop. My phone likes to log me off and I can never remember my password. And now I can see the new avatar. Look like a lot of *DRINK* is in order until the draft.

Not that I like Tammy, but he is the best ever, imo. And it hurts to say that. There is 1 way of finding out who the people think is the best. And that is, go on Ebay and see who's signature goes the highest. Brady is worth waaaaaay more than Manning or Montana. I've seen some of Brady's autograph's go over $700.00. Course depends on the card. But the cards from the same SB set by Topps, Brady goes higher than anybody and nobody else is even close......
