I really like O'Leary, but not as a Steeler. Lots of upside with him.

    60. Cody Prewitt, S, Mississippi, 6-2 220. Huge safety, this might be a bit low for him.
    66. Derron Smith, FS, Fesno State, 5-11 200. Like him much better than Holliman, he tackles
    74. Anthony Chickillo, DE, Miami (FL), 6-3 270. Faster and more athletic than you think, he actually played the 5 for the 'Canes.
    76. Anthony Harris, S, Virginnia, 6-1 190. Good player, albeit a little light for the Steelers perhaps
    79. Ifo Ekpre-Olumi, CB, Oregon, if not injured he would be hired, but he is not a Steeler typical CB either.
    84. Lynden Trail, DE, Norfolk State, 6-6, 260. Athletic project that needs to be coached up, big upside.
    86. Gerod Holliman, S, Louisville, 6-0 202, Led the nation in picks, not sure if he can be coached up to hit like Ryan Clark
    91. Durrell Eskridge, S, Syracuse, 6-3 207, long and rangy Safety. Steelers have a history with Syracuse.
    93. Justin Cox, S, Mississippi State, 6-2, 190. Long safety needs to put on weight.
    96. Kurtis Drummond, Michigan State, 6-1 200 Both Tomlin and Colbert were at his pro day, not just for Waynes.
    97. Sean Hickey, OT/OG, Syracuse, 6-5 307. Steelers were at his pro day and worked him out.
    98. Henry Anderson, DT, Stanford, 6-5 298. Prototypical 5 technique who is well coached and productive
    99. Zach Waggenmann, OLB, Montana Grizz, 6-4 250. HIgh effort guy who has some pass rushing skills
    100. Dezmin Lewis, WR, C. Arkansas, 6-4 210, Size and speed, good clay to work with.
    102. Tre' McBride, WR, William & Mary, 6-0 210. Tomlin's alma mater. A real good mid round steal JMFO.
    103. Travis Racitti, DT, San Jose State, 6-5 290. Versitala DL player who would be a fit in Pittsburgh
    107. Ladarius Gunter, CB, Miami (FL), 6-2 195. big cover guy, terrible 40 at the combine, pro day is 4/1
    108. Jacoby Glenn, CB, Central Florida, 6-0 180. lean corner from a smaller school, cannot eliminate any CB in this draft
    109. Jeff Luc, ILB/FB, Cincinatti, 6-1 251. A thumper that also worked out at FB at his pro day.
    110. John Crockett, RB, North Dakota State, 6-0 202. Very productive, better numbers than David Johnson actually, could be a day 3 pick by Colbert.
    111. Corey Crawford DE Clemson, 6-5 270, looks the part, his tape disputes it.
    112. Terry Williams, NT, East Carolina, 6-1 353. Kid is a HOUSE.
    113. Marcus Rush, OLB, Michigan State, 6-2 243. Just added to this board, may move him up, he tested very well and Tomlin and Colbert were in attendance.
    116. Jeremiah Poutasi, OG Utah, 6-4, 310. Great mid round OL player for depth and could push to start one day. Struggles at OT, better off moving him inside.
    117. Ben Koyack, TE, Notre Dame, 6-4 260, solid prospect nothing flashy. ND has put out a lof of very good TE's.
    119. Cam Thomas, CB, Western Kentucky, 6-1 190. His pro day was 3/18 I don't see much info on that. He has length but was torched in the bowl game,
    121. Titus Davis, WR, Central Michigan, 6-1, 197, Broke all of Antonio Brown?s records. Does not have the quickness however may struggle to get separation .
    122. Quashawyne Buckely, DT, Idaho, 6-1 305. Good burst off the ball, his level of competition is what will be in question.
    123. Ellis McCarthy, DT, UCLA, 6-3 330. Mountain of a man, probably a pure NT.
    124. Zach Vigil, LB, Utah, 6-2 245. When you put on tape this kid shows up, not hard to find him. Plays stiff however, needs to be dropped lower.

The only people left on the Steelers' 'visit' list are TEs or CBs or QB, and I think we can safely say that we aren't picking any more TE or CB. Would we really take a QB here?

I think we will go off the visit list from here on.

  4. LoveTheSteelers Franchise Player Steelers

    I like 60, 74, and 91 here. Among others.

  5. NCSteel69 Franchise Player Steelers

I missed Quinton Spain, OL. Does anyone know anything about him?

Without knowing anything about him, I'd rather take 97.

  6. Ravens2k Franchise Player Ravens

Per alberrt breer's tweets, the nfl lawyer's stated that if he is picked in this draft AND then decides to not enter the league he cna be eligible for next years draft- however if noone picks him, then he is screwed.

Bengals just made a nice pick.

  8. MemphisKing10 Franchise Player Steelers

Why did Michael Bennett fall so far? Did I miss something?

  9. demolisher43 Franchise Player Steelers

All right, well, after great picks out the azz, the Browns just picked two nobodies at TE.

  10. NCSteel69 Franchise Player Steelers

    Steelers are on the clock.

  11. LoveTheSteelers Franchise Player Steelers

huh, Browns double dip at TE. Smart move with a lot of picks here.

  12. I would call this ploy. If he gets drafted and sits out the year, he can reenter the draft to recoup that guaranteed money. However, I doubt he'd actually do this. To my understanding, there is no precedent for a player who is undrafted sitting out a year and reentering the draft. The CBA is unclear about the latter, so Collins is playing with fire if he doesn't get picked. Looks overall like a lot of gray area. Worth owning his draft rights in the interim IMO.

And in the 6th round, the Steelers pick.... Leterrius Walton, DT from CMU

    ?????

  14. demolisher43 Franchise Player Steelers

    Wow, awesome pick! *BRAVO* *DANCE*

  15. LoveTheSteelers Franchise Player Steelers

Steelers take a minute and a half on this pick, must have been a tough one...

That is a huge DT at 6'5". Not McCullers huge, but a big man

  16. demolisher43 Franchise Player Steelers

He's an end through and through. No position confusion like with McCullers.

  17. 6th round picks from CMU have worked in the past.

  18. LoveTheSteelers Franchise Player Steelers

LOL, NFL Network had no comment on that pick and went straight to commercial.

  19. NCSteel69 Franchise Player Steelers

Tell me something about him, demo. I know they had looked at CMU, but I thought they were looking at the WR who broke Antonio Brown's records. He's tall and big-- but is he a nose or a 5 technique?

Had L.Walton mocked to 7th round for us...... Like the pick
