This reminds me a little of last year's draft.

This year, lots of people wanted Grant in the 3rd, but the team took a fast little guy-- then we sighed in relief when Grant was still there in the 4th.

Another good pick for Baltimore.

 

I like it better like this. The 2nd-3rd one-two punch would have looked like the Steelers were panicking.

 

49ers love those injury-riddled South Carolina RBs.

 

I think the Steeler take a TE in the 5th. To me that position is BPA from the visit list.

 

I'm liking 63 in the 5th...if he survives that long.

 

It the biggest need they have yet to address, that's for sure.

 

At this point the ravens have pretty much covered all their bases of needs so BPA all the way i hope.

For what it's worth, I liked Golson more than Grant before the draft, but I thought they'd both be picked in the fourth round. Nice that we have both.

 

I think the steelers next pick will be a safety. Rb could also be an option.

I'll get over it. They need a lot of good players and Golson is certainly good. I was just looking at something different for the 2nd round. I wouldn't have thought twice if they took him in the 4th and Grant in the 2nd (even though that was early for Grant as well). It's mostly about what I had set in my mind, locking into certain players and overlooking others.

at this point im pretty open to anyone and just trust their board, they have made 5 picks that I like. already a success of a draft imo, just based on educated guesses etc who knows how they pan out

I didn't even comment on Coates when we made the pick because he was a name I saw on the Steelers' visit list and scoffed at. Last night I felt really lukewarm overall. It was, "huh?" rather than rage.

I'd be upset if I was a Panthers fan, that's for sure.

 

Who have the panthers taken thus far?

It's not definitive, but there is no S or RB remaining on their visit list. We'd all love to see 63 on board, but there are still 25 picks to go.
