Steelers Draft and Mel Kiper sucks thread!!

Not within the first 2 rounds. Unless somebody takes a hefty fall, it doesn't make any sense.

 

I dont see any solid D lineman falling to us outside Eddie goldman i guess, but i doubt he is ahead of some of the guys mentioned. as for WR, im a fan of Jalen Strong but he might now be a reach in the first with the way things are going, i like dorsett in the second, other than that, im not sold on breshard or nelson, just dont like late risers- not sure if they will be good or bad, so i think the real talented wr's will be long gone and the second round might be where we go for it.

and with that response ill be taking a nap for a few hours, see you all before the draft kicks off.

Where's everyone at? I figured that with today being the start of the draft, people would be here.

 

I remain hopeful that QB, RB, and WR account for 7 of the first 21 picks. Add Williams, Shelton, and Scherff and that leaves 11 players possibly taken out of the Steelers' presumed prospect pool of CB and OLB/DE.

In no particular order:
1. Fowler OLB
2. Beasley OLB
3. Waynes CB
4. Dupree OLB
5. Gregory OLB
6. K. Johnson CB
7. B. Jones CB
8. Ray OLB
9. Collins S
10. Peters CB
11. Armstead DE/OLB

If there are no other OL or DT taken by pick 21 the Steelers should have one guy available from this list. For every additional OL taken they will have one additional player from this list. There is a chance Malcom Brown goes in the teens, again adding to the pool of talent the Steelers will select from.

Remember Colbert answered "yes" when asked if there were 22 players the Steelers were comfortable selecting in the first round. This means they have not ruled out any position, so Erving, Flowers, and Brown may even be in their viewfinder.

NCSteel69 checking in. I haven't been participating much during the off-season, but I've been reading regularly to get my Steelers fix. Getting ready for the draft weekend (not just tonight but the whole weekend).

All these late droppers (Gregory, Ray, Collins) throwing predictions and mocks into a tailspin. Hard to think who might be left when we pick. I was just starting to get half-comfortable with the headcase Peters as our likely pick, but now he probably won't be around. It will be interesting...
