Miller in the 4th will be rough to get i think and i love the saxton pick also. thats a great draft but it may be a case of ppl catching on and picking at least threee of those guys maybe 4, way before we think ( jones, miller, orchard and saxton)

How much time do teams have to make a pick tonight? If the draft doesn't start until 8:00 I guess it will not be over until sometime after midnight?

I think they cut the 1st round time from 15 minutes to 10 between picks last year or a couple of years ago...

Yeah. It's 10 minutes for the first round, 7 minutes for the second round, 5 minutes fro rounds 3-6, and 4 minutes for round 7.

So what's everyone plans for tonight.

Mine are just relaxing at home in my Le'Veon jersey having a few buddies over. We usually make it until the 28th pick or so and then call it a night. My buddies root for an assortment of teams: Bills, Bengals, and Browns x2. There really isn't a need to see who picks late because their teams typically don't.

Hanging with my pop.. we'll switch around - hockey game, draft, etc... I'll stay tuned in until after the ravens pick - maybe a little longer...

    enjoy the evening!

Just got home, im going to watch a bit of the NFL network ( GO MAYOCK GO) then i think ill sleep for 5 hours and get back up around midnight, make sure i have pizza, and some dorito chips with salsa dip and drinks at which point ill watch the draft, then straight after ill go to the gym then work then probably die. if i dont die, then ill repeat and watch the 2 and 3 rounds.

Im EST+5 for those that are wondering.

    2K,

Check back a few pages - NY has a real good up - I think about 150 players - that is the one I'll be watching....

Casserly- just heard this...the more you hear from teams on gregory, or talk to him etc the more he drops in numerous team boards, as opposed to shane ray- who seems to check out in the character department but the injury is scary- if either slip to 22 or 26 i think its a steal

I guess the Titan are wanting their first rounder in 2016 as well. Can't blame them. You get a team desperate for THE franchise Qb, they just might be willing to do it to try and get him.

Way to go Washington on setting the precedent for what it costs for the #2 overall pick!

Did anybody see who Mel Kiper selected for the Steelers in his final mock

    Damarious Randall; S, Arizona State

Whatt an @ssclown. Randall, IMO, shouldn't go until at least midway through the 2nd round. It would be a huge reach and that has never been the Steelers/Colbert's MO.

You beat me to it Stlcrtn, just read that on Steelersdepot, and that's with Marcus Peters still on the board...........this is why this thread was created over on the site that shall be nameless, and continued on this site................100X better!!!!

And then you have this one....http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/...with-amari-cooper-jaguars-start-the-surprises

While I think they hit some. You have Quinten Rollins going at 64?? Landon Collins ging in the 2nd?? Jacksonville going WR after the haul they brought in last year??

  17. Gregory is a much bigger risk to me than Ray. If Gregory is on the board at pick 22 I'm not sure I pull the trigger but if Ray is there I'm all over it. Getting an impact pass rusher at pick 22 in my opinion can't be passed up even if all the cb's are still available a guy like Ray does more for this defence.

I too am on the +5 eastern time 2k, not easy for watching the draft at 1am in the morning but I managed to get Friday off work so happy days.

  18. Mayock had the Steelers selecting Byron Jones (CB, UConn) at 22 and the Ravens selecting Marcus Peters (CB, Washington) at 26. I wouldn't be surprised to see either player flip-flopped, but at 22 it seems entirely possible the Steelers will choose between Kevin Johnson/Marcus Peters (whoever doesn't go), Byron Jones, Randy Gregory, and Shane Ray. I really don't like the idea of selecting a safety either, but it's POSSIBLE...

I just dont see PIT passing on peters, he is a top 15 talent. Only way i think either of us do is if a guy like ray slides or greg, MAYBE gordon for the ravens

Do the Ravens feel like they have that much of a need at RB? Forsett looked great last season and their offensive line, while not great, worked well with Forsett.
