Ya I couldn't steal him from you considering I didn't need the position from you in the first already.
Don't worry I'm not looking at your rankings or anything like that. I ignore those posts.

*BYE* Round 3 shirt list guys shoot me some ideas. Walter football's Charlie Campbell is stuck on giving Pittsburgh Carl Davis DT Iowa. 1. Nit a fit 2. Motir runs hot & cold and disappears for halves. 3. Not Even on my board

  8. nybites M.V.P. Steelers UCONN

    1. Leonard Williams, DT, USC, 6-5, 302. nobody can aruge he is not BPA.
    2. Dante Fowler, DE/OLB, Florida, 6-2, 261. Violent burst, finds the ball, always in the backfield.
    3. Vic Beasley, OLB, Clemson, 6-3 246. Explosive, but I wonder if his ceiling is already met.
    4. Amari Cooper, WR, Alabama. 6-1 200. Plug and play, more polished than White.
    5. Kevin White, WR, West Va. 6-3, 210. Bigger and faster than Cooper, I like Cooper's numbers.
    6. Trae Waynes, CB, Mich. St, 5-11, 188. Best at his positon in draft, plays off and press.
    7. Danny Shelton, DT, Washington. 6-2, 0.175 Tons, Better than Raji, I'm coming around on him.
    8. Shane Ray, DE, Missouri, 6-2, 245. Like him better after doing more research. I reserve the right to change my mind.
    9. Brandon Scherff, OL, Iowa, 6-5 319, Probably one of the safest picks in the draft, day 1 starter
    10. Bud Dupree, OLB, Kentucky, 6-4 269. Huge upside, a great piece of clay to mold
    11. Malcolm Brown, DT, Texas, 6-2, 320. Big, Powerful, hard to move.
    12. Jalen Strong, WR, Ariona 6-2, 217, locates the ball, highpoints it, strong hands.
    13. DeVonte Parker, WR, Louisville, 6-2 210. Solid player, third best WR in the draft by many.
    13. Eddie Goldman, DT, Florida St. 6-4 336, Huge Dude, postion flexible, eats up blockers/space.
    14. Marcus Peters, CB, Washington, 5-11 190, outstanding corner with questionable character.
    15. Kevin Johnson, CB, Wake Forest, 6-0 190. Long corner, plays tough
    16. Jalen Collins, CB, LSU, 6-1 203, long corner, inexperienced but very talented.
    17. Randy Gregory, OLB, Nebraska, 6-5 235. Smoother than Beasley, room to fill out. Tested for Weed on 3 occasions.
    18. Landon Collins, SS, Alabama, 6-0 220. You know he is disciplined and ready to thump..
    19. La'el Collins, OT, LSU. Versitale vs. run or pass, does everything well.
    20. Erick Flowers, OT, Miami, 6-6 329 Road grater, not the slickest of foot, but very powerful.
    21. Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia, 6-1 220. If he checks out medically, best RB in draft.
    22. Quentin Rollins, CB, Miami (OH), another freak athlete that has a high celing.
    23. Preston Smith, DE, Mississippi St. 6-5 270 Relentless and does everything well, sheds blocks.
    24. Breshaud Perriman, WR, Central FLA. 6-3 210, forget he played in the AAC, he is talented.
    25. Cameron Erving, OG, Florida State, 6-5 313. Value pick, plays all 5 OL positons, durable.
    26. Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin, 6-1 215. Footwork in traffic, durable.. odometer is up there.
    27. Nelson Agholar, WR, USC, 6-0 190 ; quite possibly the best route runner at the combine
    28. Andrus Peat, OT, Stanford. No Character concerns, huge wingspan, needs to be meaner.
    29. Owamagbe Odighizuwa DE, UCLA, 6-3 267, athletic, big, well coached.
    30. Erik Armstead, DT, Oregon. 6-8 290. Measurables are insane, but he is very raw.
    31. DJ Humphries, OT, Florida, 6-5 307, athletic, great feet, not sure if he upgrades beachum.
    32. Eric Rowe, CB/S, Utah, 6-1 205, Ran well at the combine, Steelers have a man crush on him.
    33. Byron Jones, CB, UConn. 6-0, 190. Watched him play for 4 years, better than Dwayne Gratz
    34. Devin Smith, WR, Ohio State, 6-0 195. He extends the field plays faster than his stopwatch speed.

    35. Xavier Cooper, DT, Washington State, 6-4, 298, great depth at the 5, can line up anywhere.
    36. Jordan Phillips, DT, Oklahoma, 6-5 329. Very raw, very scary dude with high ceiling.

    37. TJ Clemmings, OT, Pittsburgh, 6-5 309. Similar to Humphries, but even more raw.
    38. Eli Harold, OLB, Virginnia, 6-3 247 some bad tape, good character, hard not to root for him
    39. Nate Orchard, OLB, Utah, 6-3 250, one year wonder, but he can get to the QB
    40. Ronald Darby, CB, Florida State, 5-11 188. quick feet and back pedal, very fast.
    41. Derron Smith, FS, Fesno State, 5-11 200. Like him much better than Holliman, he tackles
    42. AJ Cann, OG, South Carolina, 6-3. 313, best pure OG in the draft.
    43. Markus Golden, OLB, Mizzzouri, 6-3 260, Note that this is too low of a ranking after his great pro day, just FYI..
    44. Maxx Willims, TE, Minnesota. 6-4 250. Best TE in a very weak class
    45. Laken Tomlinson, OG, Duke,6-3 323. Massive compact Guard, great in a phone booth.
    46. Bernardrick McKinney, ILB, Mississippi St. like him over Perryman, he's a hammer.
    47. Cody Prewitt, S, Mississippi, 6-2 220. Huge safety, this might be a bit low for him.

    48. Jay Ajayi, RB, Boise State, 6-0 220, NFL sized Battering Ram, But like Johnson better
    49. Trey FLowers, OLB, Arkansas, 6-2 266. Steelers have an interest, he has a huge wingspan
    50. Phillip Dorsette, WR, Miami, 5-10 185. You cannot coach 4.2. Production at Miami is more reflective of irratic QB play than his abililty
    51. Stephon Anthony,LB,Clemson, 6-2 245, all over the field, sure tackler
    52. Jake Fisher, LT, Oregon, 6-5 300 great feet late riser
    53. Tevin Coleman, RB Indiana, 6-1 210 electric with the ball
    54. Javorious Allen, RB, USC 6-1 215 3 down back with power
    55. Corey Crawford DE Clemson, 6-5 270, versitile and athletic
    56. Jeremy Langford, RB, Muchigan State, 6-0 206. Smaller & fadter version of Bell
    57. Tre' Jackson OG FSU 6-4 339 he's a people mover
    58. Doran Grant CB Ohio State 5-11 193 moving up boards after solid pro day
    59. Tyler Lockette WR Kansas State 5-11 185 upgrades Archer
    60. Damorious Randall, S, Arizona State 5-11 193, best cover safety in draft
    61. David Cobb RB Minnesota 5-11 220 Another solid back from The Big Ten
    62. David Johnson, RB, Northern Iowa, 6-1, 220. Does everything well including returning kicks.
    63. Alex Carter, CB, Stanford, 6-0 190, Some boards have him higher up, I like him late second to mid third.
    64. Gerod Holliman, S, Louisville, 6-0 202, Led the nation in picks, not sure if he can be coached up to hit like Ryan Clark
    65. Danielle Hunter, OLB, LSU, 6-5 252, A bigger but less talented version of Randy Gregory
    66. Clive Walford, TE, Miam (FL), 6-4 259 Upside is huge, tape is mediocre
    67. Ibraheim Campbell, S, Northwestern, 5-11 205. A good safety in a weak class may push him into round 2
    68. Jaquiski Tartt, S, Samford 6-1 218. A guided missle who will thump guys, his coverage skills are marginal
    69. Zach Vigil, LB, Utah, 6-2 245. When you put on tape this kid shows up, not hard to find him.
    70. Larenzo Mauldin, OLB, Louisville, 6-4 250. Good candidate to play on the strong side, has a frame to add even more weight.
    71. Henry Anderson, DT, Stanford, 6-5 298. Prototypical 5 technique who is well coached and productive
    72. Anthony Chickillo, DE, Miami (FL), 6-3 270. Faster and more athletic than you think, he actually played the 5 for the 'Canes.
    73. Davis Tull, OLB, Tenn-Chatt. 6-3 240. Very interesting small school player with a lot of production, tested well. Currently Injured, this will drop him slightly.
    74. Anthony Harris, S, Virginnia, 6-1 190. Good player, albeit a little light for the Steelers perhaps
75, Steve "mighty mouse" Nelson, CB, Oregon State, 5-10 192. great cover guy but he's a mickin fridget
    76. Ifo Ekpre-Olumi, CB, Oregon, if not injured he would be hired, but he is not a Steeler typical CB either.
    77. Cameron Artis-Payne, RB, Auburn, 5-11 210. Does everything well, good value on Day 3.
    78. Rashad Greene, WR, Florida State. 6-0 180. One of Winston's favorite targets, I dropped him a bit due to his thin frame.
    79. Hau'oli Kikaha OLB, Washington, 6-3 250. Saw some great tape and then he looked stiff at the Senor Bowl and Combine.
    80. Cedric Ogbuehi, OT, Texas A&M, 6-5 300. Less talented that Matthews and Joeckal, and they were over-rated by most.
    81. Lynden Trail, DE, Norfolk State, 6-6, 260. Athletic project that needs to be coached up, big upside.
    82. Kenny "my man" Bell, WR, Nebraska, 6-1 197. Saw 2 of his games, was impressed. He also tested well at the combine.
    83. T.J. Yeldon, RB, Alabama, 6-2 218. Solid back, but running behind 'Bama's OL, then I gotTrent Richardson is stuck in my head. Probably not fair, but you cannot help but think that way.
    84. Eric Kendricks, ILB, UCLA, 6-0 230. Steelers already have Spence, His size limits his fit on the Steelers.
    85. Denzel Perryman, ILB, Miami (FL), see above. Kid flashes on tape, but his size scares me.
    86. Wes Saxton, TE, Southern Arkansas. 6-4 240. Small school player that will translate well into the pros.
    87. Jeff Heuermann, TE, Ohio State, 6-5. 260. Was not healthy so it's hard to look at his 2014 numbers, tough kid.
    88. Durrell Eskridge, S, Syracuse, 6-3 207, long and rangy Safety. Steelers have a history with Syracuse.
    89. Arie Kuandjio, OG, Alabama, 6-5, 318. The less talented brother of Cyrus, he's just a big guard not much else.
    90. Justin Cox, S, Mississippi State, 6-2, 190. Long safety needs to put on weight.
    91. Daryl Williams, OT, Oklahoma, 6-5 321. Powerful Big 12 lineman, middle rounds he's value.
    92. Justin Hardy, East Carolina 6-0 190, another small school sleeper that I like
    93. Kurtis Drummond, Michigan State, 6-1 200 Both Tomlin and Colbert were at his pro day, not just for Wayens.
    94. Ben Koyack, TE, Notre Dame, 6-4 260, solid prospect nothing flashy. ND has put out a lof of very good TE's.
    95. Travis Racitti, DT, San Jose State, 6-5 290. Versitala DL player who would be a fit in Pittsburgh
    96. Zach Waggenmann, OLB, Montana Grizz, 6-4 250. HIgh effort guy who has some pass rushing skills
    97. Cam Thomas, CB, Western Kentucky, 6-1 190. His pro day was 3/18 I don't see much info on that. He has length but was torched in the bowl game,
    98. Ellis McCarthy, DT, UCLA, 6-3 330. Mountain of a man, probably a pure NT.
    99. Tre' McBride, WR, William & Mary, 6-0 210. Tomlin's alma mater. A real good mid round steal JMFO.
    100. PJ Williams, CB, Florida State, 6-0 195. Not the fastest, plays well in big games.
    101. Jesse James, TE, Penn State. Steeler fans have a man crush on him, I have him as a day 3 target/

    102. D'Joun Smth, CB, Florida Atlantic, 5-11 190. Good cover guy, cannot discount any CB in this draft.
    103. John Miller, (not the Golfer), OG, Louisville. 6-2 321. I like his ability to get to the next level, you watch Louisville and you constantly see him downfield hitting people.
    104. Ladarius Gunter, CB, Miami (FL), 6-2 195. big cover guy, terrible 40 at the combine, pro day is 4/1
    105. Jacoby Glenn, CB, Central Florida, 6-0 180. lean corner from a smaller school, cannot eliminate any CB in this draft
    106. Jeff Luc, ILB/FB, Cincinatti, 6-1 251. A thumper that also worked out at FB at his pro day.
    107. John Crockett, RB, North Dakota State, 6-0 202. Very productive, better numbers than David Johnson actually, could be a day 3 pick by Colbert.
    108. Terry Wiliams, NT, East Carolina, 6-1 353. Kid is a HOUSE.
    109. Marcus Rush, OLB, Michigan State, 6-2 243. Just added to this board, may move him up, he tested very well and Tomlin and Colbert were in attendance.
    110. Blake "Belldozer" Bell, TE, Oklahoma 6-6 259. TE is new to him, and I think he is targetted like Jesse James as a day 3 option, nothing more.

Some changes, more to come, but I like this version better.

Also, missing from my board are a couple of OL players. Sean Hickey, Syracuse, and the kid out of Utah, Jeremiah Poutasi (sp?) I will add them in and possibly remove some dead wood as I find more flaws.

    bb,

go back and give me the names of the small school TE you liked, and the Steelers went to some obscure Pro day, we need to include that target. Probably a UDFA, but he should be listed.

    ny

I feel like a one legged man in an azz-kicking contest. Come on guys, give me thoughts, there are no wrong answers just fans not seeing the same thing. This thread can hit 1M views, but we need participation. HINT, CLUE, WINK, COUGH.

yeah, but you had no issues taking Bud Dupree as I was sweating over my keypad. :-* ready to run up to the E-Podium, I already had the post typed out, FYI you Bastage.

  12. burghball Guest

I only saw a little of him at the East/West Shrine game . Casey Pierce - TE Kent State... he'll be a UDFA is my guess

The Steelers were also pesent at a small school in Colorado - Pueblo? they have a QB and also another player that is of interest.

    enjoy,

    bb

  13. burghball Guest

    Colorado State - Pueblo
    Darius Allen, OLB: Cardinals (PRI)
    Chris Bonner, QB: Broncos (INT)

    Dezmin Lewis, WR- Central Arkansas

    NY,

Maybe I missed it - I did not see the kid from Hobart listed? Ali Marpett OG/OT... Liked him at the senior bowl - had a nice practice week and played very well in the game - was not overwelmed for a small school kid..

    enjoy,

How about #43 in the 3rd round? Still need depth even though you hit that position already this draft. one of them have to pan out right?

The only reason why he thinks Ronald Darby is a first-round pick is because of Darby's 40. That's literally the only explanation I can consider.
