With Murray leaving the Cowboys for the Eagles is there a chance the Cowboys take a RB in the first round. I'm doubting it since they refused to pay Murray more than 5-6 million per season. The Cowboys must believe that their O line was the key to Murray leading the NFL in rushing yards.

Once again we see the devaluing of the RB position in the NFL. I think it's a mistake. The Steelers offense was so much better with Bell than without him. I'm going to predict right now that the Cowboys offense will not be nearly as effective next season.

Mariotta looked nervous, shaky, unspectacular at pro day. How far does he fall? The Eagles at 20 Rumors are gaining steam. I don't buy it, he 's not getting past Houston @ 16.

LOL who's the stsrting CB for Hoodie now, either side ? *DRINK* . Browner to the Saints, I hope they work out a deal to bring Keenan Lewis back to Pittsburgh.

Any guess is to where Tomlin and Colbert are today? I am betting East Lansing. Trae Waynes, Jeremy Langford. 'Nuff said.

Update well duh I got my dates mixed up
Tomlin was in Columbus today. A Steeler scout was front & center on every drill. Doran Grant jumped a foot further in his broad jump. I know he's on their radar and this sort of sucks because all 32 teams were there for Ohio State's pro day.

I don't see how the Cowboys can sign AP when they couldn't sign Murray. They will never be able to get him within the cap, imo....

Steelers need a good draft and definitely can't afford a bad one!

    I gotta think that's a high comp
Pick in 2016 for Murray. Lions will get the 97th pick for losing Suh.

Man someone play taps, this board is dead. We got the Michigan State pro day on Wednesday the 18th. Latest mocks out have HEAVY pass rushers and Dupree will not make it past 15. Then a run on CB,, which would push a WR to the Steelers. Jets are out of the CB Market but otherteams like the Rams desperately need cornerbacks. I still have a feeling Landon Collins is there at 22 and a few OT's. I know we all want a CB or an Edge Rusher, but that pool could be evaporated and some other position like DL could be strong.

The one thing we hardly discuss, other than beachbum, is the pressure up the middle by the DT. Not sure what Butler and Mitchell are thinking but the strategy against the zone blocking isn't effective as it once was. A guy like Malcolm Brown is going to give you penetration up the middle and for pedestrian guys like Brady, make him rush the throw or get happy feet.

Quentin Rollins ran in the avg. to slow 40 for a DB, but his instincts will find him a home int he NFL. Some are suggesting safety, he may not be a CB. The kid out of Arizona State, Damorious Randall, is climbing boards for a few reasons. He has corner skills, and this class has very few quality safeties. One other factoid, teams that draft in the higher end of the draft on a perenial basis, already grabbed their safties in the last few drafts.

Anyone watch path to the draft on the NFL network? I was wondering if they covered the Steelers yet.

I now really dig the idea of Oh-Diggy-Zoo-Wa as our first-round pick. I liked him back when he was a seventh-round prospect months ago. Being such a strong player, he appears to be the antithesis to what we've been drafting lately. Plays with a lot of heart. The only bad thing I see is his medical history, but it appears to be behind him at this point. Plus, he'll be an instant celebrity here with that name of his.

Crossing my fingers and toes for this kid.

Malcolm Brown is certainly intriguing and McLendon has had every opportunity to take his game to the next level - just hasn't surfaced. Add in reports that he has a chronic shoulder problem and adding a guy that can play 0-1 technique at a high level might be a prudent move.

Free agency can impact some of our thought process. Patrick Robinson is visiting this weekend. First round ability and finished the year playing well last year according to the Saints beat writers. Impressive performance against the Steelers in November. I've heard a lot of pining for Keenan Lewis in here but Keenan did not play well last year both before and after the knee injury. He led the Saints with 7 TDs allowed (Robinson 1).

  18. I'm pretty confident you can take the Rams off that list. I may be wrong but I really don't see it. EJ Gaines was on the all-rookie team and they have Janoris Jenkins and Trumaine Johnson. They are really high on Johnson who only played 9 games last year because of injury. Both Johnson and Jenkins are FA's after 2015 so the position does need some attention and isn't sured up, but considering what they have in the box I'd be surprised if that was their main focus. They currently only have 3 O-linemen on the roster who have a career start and while Joe Barksdale is still expected to sign protecting Foles or getting him a weapon should be far more important. No one on their roster has a 1000 yard receiving or rushing season in their careers.

To sum it up, I just don't see the Rams taking a CB.

Agreed! I dont know where the big love for Kenan is coming from ?
He stunk most of the time he was in Pitt but did have one satisfactory( at best) season.

Watching path to the draft, New Orleans came up, and they pretty much agreed. (DJ, Baldy, Casserly, Davis) pretty much looked at the Saints games and found that teams did not throw to Allen's side as often, he was their best CB. I only saw one game obviously so I am going by what draft guys hired by NFL network are telling me. Rotoworld tells a story, but not the whole story.
