Johnny Manziel sliding in the first round stole the show on Thursday night. There was even a photoshop of Manziel drinking beer in the green room. Finally, the Browns swooped in and added Johnny Football with the 22nd pick. Once he finally heard his name called, Manziel bought a $2,000 round of drinks for his friends and fans back home at a Texas A&M bar.

    ^^^ THIS. What an assclown.

no, this is all on Bevell who is blaming Ricardo Lockette with 18 career catches to be put in position to win the game for you. Lockette is a former track star with long speed and is still a work in progress. (my CBS buddies all laughed at me for drafting him in the Collaborative draft BTW). You have a Hungry Beast looking to put away his opponent, 18 inches from Glory and you call a slant? Derrell Bevel, you were just nominated for Douche of the Year. He is blaming Lockette while Carrol and Wilson are owning up to it. Newsflash, the right player for that route was your TE Luke Wilson, who I don't even thing was part of Bevel's game plan. Class this missed.

Mike Mayock's over-used phrases, AKA Mayockisms

    1. Plug and Play
    2. Put him in a PHone Booth
    3. Bang the Table
    4. Pull the Trigger
    5. Quicker than fast.

I wouldn't let Rollins pass us in RD2 if he is there at our pick. He has speed, Hands and hits like a LB.

I took away a few things.

Re: Nate Orchard bad run support. Saw him stay at home protect the edge and more than once was creating or making a TFL.

Re: Arik Armstead is very raw. I agree, he could bevyhe next JJ WATT !! (or the next Kenneth Sims.)

Re: Josh Gordon's troubles will hurt the draft stock of Dorriel Green-Beckham. I agree however Kelvin Benjamin might give a GM False hope.

Re: Ameer Abdullah has the highest character grade- source an AFC North Scout. Crap I hipe he isn't a Steeler Scout.

Re: Blake Bell will struggle as an NFL TE . Agreed in fact he was invisible in the Senior Bowl.

Re: Jalen Collins has the tools & ball skills to be the best cb in the draft. I can buy it but the fact he needs work on technique means he won't replace Ike anytime soon. Hopefully he slides & Carnell Lake can help the young man

If you're comparing Butler to our corners, both McCain and Blake intercepted at least one pass this season. It's one thing to tout a young corner if he has shown a knack for the ball, but this was one interception that never happened before and for all we know may never happen again.

Could be a Ravens scout, too. Justin Forsett is a free agent and the Ravens have no one else.

Call me crazy, but I'm slowly losing confidence that Carnell can "help" anyone. These secondary issues are the worst we've had under Mike Tomlin, and the pass defense has been breaking down since the 2012 season.

Sorry but more than one QB after the game said you cannot put that pass there is has to be low and at the knees where only your guy can get it. Ill take thier word over yours it was a bad play call combined with poor execution end of story.

Maybe true but under the last 4 years of LeBeau playing off man teams gave been dinking & dunking them to death. If not Lake, maybe they need Patches O'Houlihan ? *YAHOO*

Another factor is the injury prone Woodley and Grandpa Harrison really helped speed up the QB read & react clock up until 2012. Lack of pressure has handcuffed the Steelers Defense.

Latest Walters Mock has Rollins going 61st to the Colts..... That's more in the range for this kid.. back end of Round 2.. my opinion

Did I say it was the poorest? No I said it was a bad throw. You yourself said it was not the greatest int hat situation it has to be perfect so okay is not good enough. Your season in on the line anything less than a perfect pass there is bad. I could care less about either team so your statement about not seeing the play clear because of clouded judgment is obvious. The pass was late and off target the fact that you dont see that says more about you having clouded judgment then me.

    Monmouth WR Neal Sterling

Keep an eye on this small school WR - With L.Moore wanting released.. We may be drafting a WR 3rd day or bring one in UDFA... 6'3"

I saw a write of him on a practice report for the College Gridiron showcase..

The players have also got to want to listen and take the help and use it the way they're supposed to.

It would be regarding his run in with the law at the beginning of this past season.

It's been more about the defensive pass scheme than it has been about the positional coaching. The strict rules about contact after five yards have exposed the scheme Dick Lebeau liked to run. Hopefully Keith Butler plays more press coverage.

I read today that Mr. Rooney thinks the two areas the Steelers need to improve the most in are rushing the passer and red zone offense. Does that give any indication of what postions the Steelers might target or is it just reflection on the past season.
