Simon was completely outmatched by Matthews. Too short, as evidenced in the game twice.......

    Igloo,

I think you meant Arrington, Simon played for Seattle and came in when #30 effed up his wrist and went off in an air cast. The point is that as big as douche as Sherman is, he is a prototypical CB in the new NFL.

No, Simon was beat twice in the end zone. The 1st time Brady completely missed him wide open in the end zone. later in the game, they came back to the same play and Simon was beat again for a TD on the same play and N.E. scored a TD. Not sure if it was Matthews though, but Simon was beat twice in the end zone. And by a long shot...... :)

Igloo, Matthews and Simon were on the same team Matthews was the WR that caught the TD right before the half for Seattle and Simon like NYB stated was the player that was subbed in for the guy who intercepted Brady the first time.

Your right. Who was the receiver that had Simon beat twice in the end zone on the same play and both should have been TD's, but only 1 was as the other pass by Brady was waaaay off target?

Right, Eddleman. If Pittsburgh Need guys to cover these little pukes, I would draft Steve Nelson AKA Mighty Mouse from Oregon Stste. You watch the tape from Ladd pebbles, best cover corner on the field.

Or just re-sign Brice McCain. Kid played well the second half of the year.

How about Nick Marshall as your Emergency QB & backup CB/ST. Anyone is better than Duck-Chucking Jones!

Who will be the Sleeper WR that Colbert will pick late in the draft this year?
Here's a few names: Titus Davis -Central Michigan & Tre' McBride- William & Mary

The guy who tripped Lockette in the middle of the field earlier in the game? BTW wilson & Carrol took the blame but Lockette could have stepped toward the ball and the OC is a blithering dumbass

It was his first career INT. Let's not make more of it than it is.

Johnny COLLEGE Football just entered rehab. Told you so, that,s why I had him off my board. Doriel Green-Beckham is red flag city and unless Carnell Lake vouches for Marcus Peters I think they're both very risky character issue guys and off the board.

Yeah - Agreed = Watch Rollins during senior bowl week.. Kid is top 100 - has some tools - but man is he raw... At 22? No thanks... I another couple of late round sleepers are the TE from Kent State - Casey Pierce , the S from Penn State - A.Amos and Stephone Anthony ILB Clemson.. to name a few others I kind of liked..

    enjoy,

Not to mention it was poorly thrown pass by Wilson. He has pretty much been off the hook while the world slams Beval and Carrol for stupidity.

I agree top 100, a point guard with 200 steals with one year of Football is not pick 22. I had mentioned Nick Marshall because when you dress 45 guys, someone who can play CB, ST, and QB is pretty valuable. Landry Jones is NOT VALUABLE.
Going to mention another sleeper WR to consider. Rannell Hall out of Central Florida made some ridiculous catches in practice and the Game in Mobile. He also has size at 6-1 200 and the gift of locating and fighting for the ball. I would draft him on day 3 but would not wait around for him to keep sliding.

I don't do mocks that often, but I can see the writing on the wall for one pick. At pick 33, Nate Orchard pencil that one in. He is going to continue to rise and will be a fringe first rounder after the combine if he aces the drills. Whisenhunt really likes this kid and I can look at their roster and you can just plug him in as a day one starter.

    http://www.drafttek.com/2015-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round1b.asp

Take a look at Draftek, not a bad sight, but their Round 1 mock is way too heavy on CB. They have The Steelers taking Devin Funchess. Before anyone starts tying a cinder block to their foot on the Roberto Clemente Bridge, think about it. He is a tweener WR/TE and more importantly is a matchup nightmare. Think Mike Evans or Kelvin Benjamin and don't look at Funches numbers from 2014. Basically Michigan sucked and had horrible QB play. ON the other hand the traditional TE Maxx Williams is more their style. I really don't see them going DB in round one because all these draft sites keep pushing CB at us. Games are won and lost on the LOS, and building on the Zac Martin Theory, things will heat up on day one.

Which brings me to another point, why would you draft Melvin Gordon or Todd Gurley in round one, WHY? This is a deep class at WR, CB, RB. Smart teams will wait for value. It's an average class for TE, and on the weak side for Safeties. Derron Smith and Gerod Holliman will be over-valued and reached for. The only Safety with a first round grade is Landon Collins. Teams will be reminded in their war rooms about Alabama Safeties getting too much hype in previous drafts. It is possible that he makes it all the way to 22. Possible, but not probable.
