Wait... because Walterfootball doesn't report on who the Steelers interviewed you guys automatically assume they weren't there? Is that what I'm reading?

I didn't say they weren't there I just said I don't think they interviewed anyone, why not take any advantage you can to get to know the players personally. Why would walter report other teams doing this and leave out the rest?

Tomlin and at Least Porter were at the senior bowl. - Saw them during practice reports on NFL Network - My guess is that they did not disclose who they talked too... some teams do this .. not a big deal... I'm guessing the media will find out eventually and walterfootball will update their list... at some point At least that is the way they did it last year - same thing - nobody listed under the steelers - then later after the combine the list shows up.. including who they talked to at the senior bowl...

    enjoy,

Rob Rang likes Tampa to take Jameis Winston 1st overall. What say ye? What do you think of Rob Rang Bites? Theres supposed to be a top notch NT (forget his name) that will go early also......

I'm glad Joey Porter is a part of the Steelers organization. Hopefully he's consulting Tomlin on edge rushers.

Rang is better than Bugphuccer, but he's not better than anyoe on this site.
The NT you are referring to is Danny Shelton out of Washington. Another big fella getting some good grades is Goldman out of Florida State. Malcolm Brown of Texas is mocked to PIttsburgh by Bucky Sucky Brooks. I am not convinced a 2 down DT is a value pick in round one. If you can get a potential starter at NT that does not come off the field on 3rd down,, you have something. I had mentioned that Shelton does not always get off his blocks, The Actual game, not the practices, put that in the conversation on Shelton at the Senior Bowl.

A lot of Mocks have Alvin "Bud" Dupree going to Dallas not sure he lasts or gets past The Steelers. A good pass rush makes up for an average secondary. Jarvis Jones just has not gotten it yet, hopefully year three the light comes on.

I don't see Colbert going secondary in round one unless the Stars align and The Gods smile on them and Landon Collins falls to 22.

If Marcus Peters can convince Tomlin and Colbert he's not a cancer he's my pick at this point. Good feet, hips, ball skills. Plays physical and good size. Obviously I don't know a damn thing about him personally or his dismissal from Washington but the coach says he will still have Peters a good recommendation. We need a playmaking CB.

Well there you go. bb straighten it all out.
I take back what i said earlier.

CB seamed to be one of the hardest to evaluate.

Who knew Williams Gay would be end up being as good as he's been
    the last couple seasons.
I agreed with bringing him back but mostly because he knew the system.

Day 3 RB wish list, who you got?
Rewatched the Swnior Bowl, my chiices are, in order.
David Johnson, David Cobb, Artiss-Payne. Not a fan of Abdullah because if the fumble history lime I stated before. I know the cinsensus is Jay Ajahi but he won't make it out if the 3rd round JMFO. Colbert & Tomlin have to get an edge rudher and some secondary help. I have a suspicion that Maxx Williams and Clive Worford are gone mych earlier than people predict. With the pass defense rules favoring the offense, big fast guys with soft hands are a premium piece of the puzzle.

I-phone spell check isn't doing your post any favors. But I agree with your RB assessment.

Peters is supposed to be the top corner. He could fall to the Steelers because of his attitude. Would the Steelers chance him? One mock I saw had Dallas taking him, but the Steelers pick ahead of Dallas......Jerry Jones would probably chance it, imo.....

He'll be a Bengal, Raider, or a Patriot.

From what I've read Peters has trouble controlling his emotions. Sounds like he's got an attitude like Dez Bryant. Sideline outbursts, stupid personal fouls, and being combative with the new coaching staff. Doesn't sound like a guy who has legal trouble. Probably needs to go to a team with strong locker room leadership where players enforce the standard.

That, and he too has a fumbling history and is lacking in pass protection. He runs and catches really well, and I think that blinded some of us to his flaws, which are big parts of Le'Veon Bell's skillset and would be sorely missed if we didn't have a backup running back who could do that too.

To me, Tevin Coleman is more like Bell than Ajayi is. Another late-round sleeper we should be watching is Louisville's Dominique Brown.

I've watched Jay Ajayi enough to know that his biggest weakness is pass blocking. He catches extremely well like Bell and he's got great field vision. Jay has another gear that gives him break away speed. I've watched him pull away from some athletic corners. If he makes it out of the second round I'll be surprised. He reminds me more of Jamal Charles than Bell.

Ajayi isn't a sleeper...I know at least one draft site lists him as a top 50 overall talent in this draft.

Also the classic LeBeau CB should we be thinking the new style of CB under Keith Butler? And since Tomlin & Colbert are pulling the trigger their history is heavily in favor of linemen & linebackers. And is Ohio State just another school now instead of a Steeler Farm System?

Hardly. They are the National Champions !!! *YAHOO*
