I know the Steelers have drafted a couple of receivers the last 2 seasons. However, my WVU boy Kevin White is looking better and better. Think Larry Fitzgerald. Could be available middle to late first round.

As a Pitt season ticket holder, I'm not sure I can green lite that.... eh.

I'm a big fan of Miami's OT, Ereck Flowers. Rob Rang said he was the best Miami offensive tackle since Bryant McKinnie. Honestly, looking at who the Hurricanes have had since then, I'd be inclined to agree.

He got penalized for flipping the bird at Nebraska fans at the Canes' game in Lincoln. He has fire and all the physical tools you'd want from an offensive lineman. During gameplay, Randy Gregory had two sacks, but neither were against Flowers.

Flowers has played tackle his entire time at Miami, but he has enough size and strength to play guard at 6'5", 322 lbs. He played both right and left tackle and has been solid at each position.

David DeCastro is potentially our best offensive lineman. He isn't perfect, but he plays with a nasty streak and is at least solid on all fronts. He grew up a Seahawks fan and had no love for the Steelers. He probably doesn't give two s**ts about Alan Faneca or other great Steelers linemen who played before him.

Mike Adams is a venerable turnstyle in pass protection. He grew up a rabid Steelers fan and practically begged the team to draft him during the 2012 offseason. The results have been underwhelming, and now the Steelers should be looking at him as a possible bust in his third season.

Lovey-dovey warm and cozy doesn't translate to great players. Flowers surely isn't a Steelers fan either.

A look into how Eddie Goldman's (DT, Florida State) teammates perceive him, and a look at how he carries himself.

We need vocal leaders on this defense, so I'm a bit disappointed in his quiet demeanor. His plus is how he plays.

UPDATE: That one win shot us backwards on the draft order from 13th to 19th (the Browns have the Bills' 2015 first-rounder and would pick 20th as a result). There are lots of 3-4 and 3-3 teams in the NFL right now.

    I would rather pick 32nd.

The two best places to pick in the draft are 1st and 32nd. Anything in between kinda sucks! *JOKINGLY*

You trying to go all Canadian on us bb? Good to see your posts are actually starting to be coherent!

  11. Just adding a fyi....Rashad Greene abused this kid last yr in Clemson...he pretty much locked Dez Bryant down in zero coverage in the 4Q...that shuld tell u how good Greene can b in the NFL

I'm gonna guess you didn't watch him vs. the Giants and Seahawks.

He did well last night, but Brice McCain has been better. I'd rather have a star cornerback from next year's draft class over Breeland now.

Best fit i've seen at LB is Hauoli
Kikaha., Washington. Very impressed in read/react, pass rushing/run stopping/drop
Into space. By April his stock will
    Be a full
Round higher than it is now. Colbert passes on him in round 2, he won't be there in 3.

    Jameis "pick"
    Winston. No thanks. Go
    Louisville!

NY returns to give Kikaha his endorsement. I knew I was right.

PS, I revised a mock and am pretty pleased with this one too - we're still 19th overall despite the victory over the Colts.

    1. Marcus Peters, CB, Washington
    2. Hau'oli Kikaha, OLB, Washington
    3. Ben Koyack, TE, Notre Dame
    4. Corey Robinson, OT, South Carolina
    5. Travis Raciti, DE, San Jose State
    6. Laken Tomlinson, OG, Duke
    7. Owamagbe Odighizuwa, OLB, UCLA

    UDFA. Cameron Artis-Payne, RB, Auburn
    UDFA. Brandon Ivory, NT, Alabama

    Demo,

Nice looking draft - the kid from Duke - not sure he lasts till round 6 - but would love that pick there... Kid is still growing/developing and has a potential high ceiling.. I'm going to the Pitt vs Duke game on Saturday and will be watching Laken.

    enjoy,

Thanks, bb. I'm really intrigued by the 7th rounder I got (not typing his name again). He missed 2013 with two hip surgeries, but this season appears to have bounced back in a big way. He could be a really disruptive special teamer at the very least.

Check out a Freno State game, they have a couple of late second day prospects that I like. The Safety Deron Smith, and the DT Tyler Davison. Also a WR that has promise, however with Brown, Wheaton, Bryant as your core, with DHB, and Lance Moore as the 4th and 5th, I don't see WR in any round unless a blue chip falls to the third day..

A lot of Mocks are RB heavy in the first two rounds. I think the trend continues with 3-4 in the first two rounds, however, Todd Gurley is going in the top 20. Safeties will again rise up and move ahead of RB, and some of these 3-4th round OT will find there way slowly into second rounds when we hit D day.

Radiation went well, I did not miss one minute of work in the 2 months of 5 days a week that they nuked me. Currently I have family issues I am dealing with, this is a cool hobby. But it's a hobby. I don't want any sympathy either, just give me space and understand I have been posting on the draft for 7years and this is no longer on my top priority list. It was nice sentiment to hear from the guys I was missed, but I am going through some emotional changes. You won't hear any more negative rants from me, Just a polite "he sucks,no thanks". And Kiper and ESPN blow, I just don't need to reitterate it on a daily basis, y'all know where I stand.
