Demo, It might be a good idea to add a QB to the early draft picks.
Ben isnt in his prime like everyone is saying.
That doesnt mean I want him cut but itspast time to start grooming an
early round QB not names Landry Jones.

  2. How bout Winston...he may fall right in ur lap lol

That kid is going to have some serious legal issues. Plus he may not come out this year.

  4. Hes gonna b fine...if he signed autographs and got paid the NFL culd care less bout that stuff...he told Jimbo he never took one penny and the only way he gets suspended is if the FSU administration gets scared of ESPN and they fold under pressure...if that happens Jimbo will b gone in a heartbeat

Legally he may be fine but he is showing a pattern of behavior that should scare most teams away (The Steelers should be one of those teams).

  6. So far he has been found not guilty on everything...teams shuld b flocking 2 him since hes the best QB on the board IMO

Not sure if you have been reading the papers, stopper, but there is evidence that both Florida State University and Seminole County police did not do due diligence in obtaining evidence in the Winston rape case. It is possible the victim fabricated this story. 95% of the time it is reported it is not fabricated. Selling his autograph is a fairly minor issue. Being charged with rape either in a criminal case or a personal lawsuit is serious poop.

  8. I wuld agree w this, but until he loses the case...I cant see teams holding it against him

He should be a perfect fit if he was accused of rape. The thing that disturbs me about football players being accused of rape is they have chicks hanging on them by the hundreds. Why would they have to commit rape?

It's not even a matter of getting some, imo. To them, it seems to be more of a "don't you know who I am, how dare you not want to be my sex toy. I'll show you" type of thing. I may be wrong but when famous people go the sexual assault route, it just seems so ego driven as well as viewing these women as just objects for their enjoyment

The NFL isn't going to just brush aside Winston's rape case in lieu of the violence-against-women fiasco that is sweeping the league. Maybe in the recent past, but not now.

I never posted an updated mock. Maybe it's because of our elevated position, but this is my favorite one so far.

    1. Randy Gregory, OLB, Nebraska - The best OLB prospect in a very deep class. For the record, my top three are Gregory, Fowler, Beasley in that order. It could change with deeper evaluation.
    2. Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State - The Darqueze Dennard lovers should have been watching Waynes, who's a better fit for our scheme and plays more like Kyle Fuller than his former teammate.
    3. Jay Ajayi, RB, Boise State - I read one report on him that compared him to Marshawn Lynch. I don't know about that, but he has the talent and skillset to spell Bell as long as it isn't on third down; he can't pass block.
    4. Jordan Richards, SS, Stanford - The antithesis to the quick, fast theme our team has taken as of late, Richards trades pure quickness and speed for technique, ball skills, and sound tackling.
    5. EJ Bibbs, TE, Iowa State - A real diamond in the rough; great receiving TE.
    6. Frank Clark, OLB, Michigan - Potentially a big steal, Clark is a large OLB prospect who isn't too quick or fast, but does everything else right, including playing nasty.
    7. Cedric Reed, DE, Texas - A 6'6" DE prospect who needs to gain weight.

    UDFA. Brandon Ivory, NT, Alabama
    UDFA. Daryl Williams, OT, Oklahoma
    UDFA. Jamon Brown, OG, Louisville

Good stuff - This year's TE class appears pretty weak... another kid to watch is the TE from Arkansas - AJ Derby - ex-QB - has ball skills - probably not going to be an A+ blocker.. I need to watch him more in the coming weeks

    enjoy,

    SOS!!! *HELP*

Can someone put out an APB - All Points Bulliten for NY and get his butt back in here? We need some of his expertise in this draft thread..

    Enjoy,

    Agreed!!!

    Where are you ny ?

It's not just the rape case which I believe the handling of this case is now under investigation, but other things he has done. Stealing Crab legs from a super market, stealing Drinks at burger king, the whole meme deal. Yes he is a kid and some mistakes are a given but really you were under investigation for rape then you go and scream F her in P. Come on man that just poor judgment. The more he gets in trouble and gets out of it the more trouble he is going to get into. Kid has no head on his shoulders and that to me is why he isnt worth messing with.

  17. I agree that he needs 2 grow up and I feel 1 more strike and hes out....I also feel he is a natural leader that his teammates follow and his work ethic is above the charts....that along w his talent will make him a 1st round pick 4 sure if hes acquitted of all accounts

I know, it's not the same. I'm mostly just a drafting guy. I try, but it's like an electric motor in a jet plane. ;D

NY is the carrier of the thread. Or, he should be.

NY isn't on Facebook either right now. Hopefully he is OK?

I've been talking to ny for the last few weeks. He still has his health situation to deal with. If you know about it, you should understand. If not, then I cannot help you because that's for him to let you know. He will be back eventually, but he doesn't exactly know when. Until his return, we have to keep this topic going strong everyone.
