Sean Lee is the NFL equivalent of Sam Bowie of NBA fame. famous for breaking bones, knees, whatever, dude coulld NOT stay healthy.

I still think Cleveland messed up not taking Watkins knowing Gordon was in hot water. at 35 they still could have taken a solid CB. Justin Gilbert is going to be a good corner, granted. However Sammy Watkins is a game changer. One of 3-4 guys in the draft that are going to be impact players as rookies. It is going to be interesting watching Cleveland play Buffalo. Lord help us if Watkins torches them. Browns fans will be lighting torches and sh.it marching toward The Flats.

Today the Pittsburgh Steelers acquired Deion Belue off the waiver wire from the Miami Dolphins. According to the NFL?s transactions, Pittsburgh was awarded former Alabama corner Deion Belue on waivers from Miami on Wednesday.
To make room for Belue, the Steelers waived offensive tackle Kaycee Ike, an undrafted free agent from UAB. The 5-foot-11, 182-pound Belue was a two-season starter for the Crimson Tide, notching 60 tackles, breaking up 10 passes and recording three interceptions. Source: Draft Diamonds

He has good SEC experience,, but there was a reason he was undrafted. Why not take a chance, our secondary needs to find that Diamond in the Rough. They just inked Shaq Robinson, hopefully that string of 5th round duds ends here.

In a minor move the Steelers picked up an ex-OL that played 38 games with the Rams at tackle. The Steelers figure to use him at gaurd......

I might extend Heyward . Allen & Worilds are not exactly pictures of perfect health

I agree. It is possible the Steelers take their chances on Worilds this season. See if he can make it through 16 games before showing him the money.

Not football related . . . but I thought you all would like to know that Mano has started a new internet business.

    Nice article on Ike Taylor:

Ike Taylor: ?I call myself a Rooney, I call myself a LeBeau, and I call myself a Steeler?

By: Rick Brisse June 3, 2014 in NFL, Steelers

    Ike-Taylor

Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor won?t ever put on another NFL uniform.

?I always want to be a Steeler,? Taylor said to the team?s website. ?I don?t want to ever put on another jersey. I want to retire a Pittsburgh Steeler. That is what it boils down. I call myself a Rooney, I call myself a (Dick) LeBeau, and I call myself a Steeler. That is how I feel.?

After missing the team?s three organized team activities last week, Taylor is practicing Monday in the first part of OTAs this week.

Taylor said he has worked harder with coach Tom Shaw this year than he has in the previous two off seasons.

?I am working more on explosiveness,? he said. ?Coach Shaw has gone back to the old school New Orleans workouts, you have to pass out before you come and talk to him. We drink the water, but we are going all the way in. I have been at my best when we had that mindset in the offseason. I said coach put me to the breaking point.?

Taylor, in the final year of his contract, said he?s entering his 12th NFL season healthy.

?I feel good. I have been banged up,? he said. ?I have had bruises, injuries, and a lot of stuff. I have just been working through it. I feel like this year I am finally healthy and it?s going to be a good year for me and the organization.

?Regardless of what my contract says, I am going to stretch it out as much as possible. This is what I like to do. I like OTAs training camp minicamp training camp, I like going through it with the guys, I like going through the process. I am not going anywhere. I am lifer. When it comes to Pittsburgh, I am a lifer.?

How can you not have the utmost respect for any Steeler that thinks the way Ike does?

Which is another reason I wanted a CB in the first couple rounds
but if Shazier and Tuitt progress like the reports out of ota's are
saying, I'll be satisfied with the picks and hope for the CB they
did draft to be a help.

One thing about reports, they often say players are better than they are ( Ziggy Hood).

Maybe there's something wrong with your web browser? The spoiler shows up for me, and it's a good one!

The image loaded for me too. Time for Roc to update from Windows II. *PARDON*
I hope coach Mitchell gets McCullers some leverage technique. With The size & talent on the DE's I think the speed will allow the LB's to
Make more plays. Watching some more highlights of Archer, if they give him a little space the dude is going to cover ground in a hurry.
