I don't know why they went Boyd last round. I can only guess they are hoping on rolling with Geno and thinking of a backup after Vick. I don't know who IK is and while Enunwa is a great pick he was drafted by a team that already took 2. I can see him outperforming Shaq Evans but man what a bummer. Nebraska players getting

After the news of Josh Gordon and (to some extent Nate Burleson) . . . why does it not surprise me that the Browns traded their last pick (7-218) to the Ravens and then the Ravens select a Wide Receiver.

Ik Enemkpali played in the east-west shrine game. Mayock kept talking about him, but I can honestly say he didn't show up in the game much. So I don't know why the hype is so big either. Must be a height/weight/speed guy again...

FYI If LSU doesn't take a huge step back this season then I'll be shocked. They lost their entire offense and a decent amount of defense.

I have no problem with doing that if the upside is what is it. Not too many obviously but one here and there.

 

. . . and it just now dawned on me that Mike Campanaro (the WR picked by the Ravens with the 7th round spot from the browns) is the ONLY wide receiver picked by an AFCN team !!! *SCRATCH*

 

So here's what Kevin Butler had to say about Zumwalt:

Several have speculated that UCLA linebacker Jordan Zumwalt has the versatility to play both inside and outside in the Pittsburgh Steelers defense, but linebackers coach Keith Butler said Saturday afternoon that inside is probably where he will land.
"He's a long, tall kid, but I would see him as an inside guy, too, at this point," said Butler of the Steelers first of two sixth round draft picks. "He's a kid that can provide some backup for us that should be able to play some special teams for us and create competition for us at the inside linebacker position. We're going to have some."
Due to the defense that Zumwalt played in at UCLA, Butler doesn't seem to be too worried about him being able to pick up the Steelers system.
"The kid played in a very similar defense that we run here," said Butler. "The transition is probably going to be a little bit easier."
At UCLA, Zumwalt played in 50 games over four seasons and recorded 256 total tackles of which 164 were of the solo variety.

I especially love the Bold part, really glad we double dipped on the ILB position. This is the position we drafted Shazier for isn't it?

 

And they are talking about him on NFL-N right now. Mayock says he would be a 1st without the character issues. (maybe a reach but plausible)
