Steelers Draft and Mel Kiper sucks thread!!

Well not as good as value as a no name OG from a small school in the middle of the draft.

 

After this Eagles pick we are on "Round 8"

Beau Allen

 

There is the guy I wanted Beau Allen, bucking fastards.

 

It is Walter, and agreed. He also gave an A+ to the Martavis Bryant selection.

There goes Beau Allen.

 

I'm not huge on the pick with whoever is left.
I really wanted Skov or another of those remaining ILBs like Jones or Bullough.

That being said I can live with Allen but I think it's a missed opportunity.

Victor Hampton: Banger, can play press, good tackler. Seen 4 CB's I don't even know taken. WTF.
Marcus Roberson: Do I need to say anything?? What the hell...
Dion Bailey: Has coverage skills and can and will tackle. Why's he available?
Kelcy Quarles: Penetration skills, decent size. Has toughness. Confused.
Terrance Mitchell: The numbers jump out at you
Ethan Westbrooks: His measurables were outstanding. Bit of character concern. ??
James Gayle: Still confused. There's talent there.
Jackson Jeffcoat: Expected him to fall. Not this far.
Yawin Smallwood: I thought people loved this guy. Steady faller from Jan to now...
James Hurst: the fact Jadeveon Clowney got zero sacks against him. Looked very technically sound. I know he's recovering, but I still don't get it.


That's barely scratching the surface. I missed probably 8 more. How are some of these guys falling....beyond me.

 

I was going to say undrafted in the challenge but changed my mind.

 

They will probably take a Punter, and not the one I want.

Smallwood is the biggest suprised next to bailey for me, i just figured someone would step up. but agreed overall, UDFA should be interesting

Smallwood pulled his hammy at the combine. I watched UConn quite a bit, this kid finds the ball, and he covers anyone that comes into his area,, just look at the stats as far as Passes Defended

 

Seahawks just took some RB who is 5'8" 244. WoW!!! What's their plan with him, FB for sure right...Crazy pick.
