  1. I agree. It was a bit of an adjustment but I've really come to liking this site. Better features, great admin service and all the good posters made it. It feels a lot closer here.

Right before the crash I got a PM oh to VTSteelers77, be was the last one I contacted. FOT knows about this site, hopefully Stingers and BK 56 finds us.

  3. ironman we all owe you big! I'm glad the guys running this site will have a lot of new posters now. Let's make this even better than our last home.

Maybe it's just me, but I cannot forsee the Steelers taking an OLB in the first 3 rounds. With having Worrilds and Woodley, you have the guys who should run the position for the next 5-6 years. No need to draft a guy highly and see him ride the bench.

  5. You aren't alone. This feels like one of those situations where we all say glaring hole but it isn't covered because they have faith in one of their guys (unless someone falls).

That said addressing depth there is a must.

  6. Some may not like it, but Denard Robinson may in fact be the perfect fit for this team. They need a RB, WR and a returner and he can play all three. Good value in the 6th.

    I'm on deck, thinking 38,40,49

    Thoughts?

I am pretty new to this site so I figured I would start with the first article on here. It is amazing the amount of knowledge that you guys have out together. I am going to take my time and read through each post to get a better idea of what is in store next week.

I would be on board. Being a huge Michigan fan, I have seen the spark that he can provide. I realize he isn't a great QB by any means, but having him throw the ball on a reverse pass could be effective.

    I like 55 a bunch and I like 51 ahead of 49

I had time to review my board last night, I took player 29 on my War Board, Quinton Patton at pick 48. There was a huge run on WR and If waited until pick 79, I could really miss out. I passed on OLB and RB because the board is still stacked with talent. It's like a draft within a draft. ;)

Are you sure it's not a draft within a draft within another draft. That's a movie reference for those who may get it.

Nope I am actually quoting the draft specialist, on Mud-N-Cleats. His articles can be found under:
Forums or Index ----> NFL Draft---------> Click on Icon Bryan Peterson top of the page.

Perhaps, and that is also addressed in the article. My logic is simply this, BPA that helps the team, late last night I forgot about 29, truthfully I didn't see it, my check mark on 28 was low on my work sheet. The run on S, CB, and WR was predicted and almost fell true to form. I had Patton rated early second, and to me he is a full round better than what was left after him. (66,72,75) Granted no RB had come off the board, but in round 3 and 4 I bet I get my choice of a bunch of them.

You won't get any argument from me. i would have guessed that nobody in the top 38 was left. I really like the pick. You are the Steelers draft specialist and your insight is better than just about anybody's than I have ever seen.

Denard Robinson reminds me of Josh Cribbs

perhaps, but he is much smaller, I think the Steelers have a plethera of little slot guys, another reason I passed on Austin.

Go back a page or so and throw me some numbers of players you like, IE, their overall rank, NOT THE ACTUAL NAME, (we are right in the middle of a collaborative draft).

#45 in the 3rd could be a steal. Maybe even trading up to late 2nd if avail. 3rd rounders could also great spot for 55. Good for69, 78, 80, 81, and 82. Maybe even a gamble on 83?

There goes 45 to the Bengals.
