Maybe Dallas wrote the wrong name on the card... Lawrence makes no sense to me.

 

Dallas...leave it to JJ to make the most insane moves possible for okay players.

 

I dunno, maybe he reminds Monte Kiffin of Simeon Rice somehow. Lawrence is certainly a finesse player who won't hold the edge that well.

 

He was a 3-4 OLB prospect. Two years ago it would have made slightly more sense. He'll be a pass-rusher in Dallas's Cover-2, seeing as he can't hold the edge.

EDIT: Matt Millen is still an idiot. Lawrence is apparently "the best pure pass rusher in this draft."
