I wanna let loose my opinions regarding the AFC North drafts in the minutes lead up to Night 2.

The Bengals caught a good player who fell. I never loved Dennard and was never fully on-board with him coming to Pittsburgh, and he's a potentially better fit in Cincinatti anyway. Not flashy, but probably effective.

The Ravens caught another good player who fell. 2k has been saying this over and over, but there's no reason to believe Mosley won't be an effective long-term starter in Baltimore. Again, I wasn't as high on him as others were for Pittsburgh, but that doesn't diminish his ability or value he brings to his new team.

I'm very happy with Ryan Shazier, but it sort of came out of left field. Regardless, maybe I should stick to my instincts from now on. *SCRATCH*

The Browns didn't have as great a day as people say. I know Lyman is rubbed raw with Steelers fans mocking him, so I won't pile it on. This just seems extremely similar to past Browns drafts, and I don't think Manziel, on the spectrum of franchise QBs, scores very highly at all. I don't like his attitude, and he can be a big distraction. Plus, Drew Brees and Russel Wilson are abberations, not norms in the world of short QBs. Brees plays in a perfect situation and Wilson has the good fortune of playing with a dominant defense. Not to say those guys aren't very good (or even elite in Brees's case), but they have lots of help.

If the Browns as a team can come together, I guess I'll eat my words. I'd go as far as to say they had the worst night in the division, though.

I bet you the Browns management is kicking themselves in the azz now for trading away the rights to Watkins. They could have had him to stop the bleeding that Gordon will cause with his suspension. I believe the reports on him, he got kicked out of Baylor for smoking weed, and couldn't stay clean long enough to play for another college. Then got popped once in the NFL already. This guy is another Ricky Sticky Finger Williams, probably will retire so he can move to Colorado a smoke weed freely. Purple Haze all in my face.

 

I doubt amaro last all the way to NE, but if he does, i think they will run to the podium.

I dont like the rest of the depth other than that one kid who's name ill have to go look up so i shall dub him the other te.

I dont think so, i dont think they just got surprised by this news, they had to know, and furthermore, i think they would have taken the extra first either way which is going to help next year.

I did, and I think you were right on the money. The Browns didn't have nearly the worst night in the NFL, but another corner and a shrimpy QB wouldn't get me quite as excited as the hype says I should.
