Steelers Draft and Mel Kiper sucks thread!!

With Ike Taylor at 34, the league being more and more passing. Vince Williams improving, Spence getting the clean bill of health. OLB with jones and worilds. I don't get it. I waited all day for this?

 

Not according to our lists. But it means something when the Steelers turned their card in 5 seconds after the previous pick was announced. They clearly wanted Shazier, and there was no discussion about it. Nor was there any thought of entertaining or seeking a trade down.

They wanted the guy. There must be something there that we just didn't see.

As soon as Shazier begins starting, we'll have the fastest pair of ILBs in the NFL. I'd like to see how those TE-centric offenses answer that.

 

The intitial shock is over, Shazier is at least explosive.

Interesting on JuWan James, took him over Moses, Kuandjio, and Botonio.

Shazier has the speed to cover that is certain.. so .. as the league is trending as a passing game - I can see this pick..

We;ll have J.JOnes, Timmons, SHazier, and at least Whirlpool this year - a really nice combo of LB's

Ryan Shazier will play inside linebacker next to Lawrence Timmons. Add Jarvis and Worilds and could be very good.

Timmons will likely be the MIKE linebacker and Shazier the BUCK . MIKE lines up on strong side and makes calls.

What I don't like about Steelers pick: Don't like ILB value in first round and was more of late first round pick. Other than that, great
