Board is a little off Shaq Evans over Janis. Missing Jeffcoat and a few other players that visited. Crowell is too high , we're also missing: S Lonnie Ballentine Memphis , I ca fix on word but not on smart phone. Update @ 9pm well only be in the top 5 - 10 anyhow a d I'm solid with 1-10

 

Yeah I would assume so. The board is all ny's. I did notice that Derek Carr wasn't on there. Same thing for Johnny Asshat

Yeh all makes sense, just wondering incase is all, i dont see why HCD wouldnt be on the radar at all for PIT though especially if pryor is on the list.

I still think Benjamin with all his size, talent, upside is one of those boom or bust players. Anyone else got more boom or busts ?

Also B OR B : Clowney, Johnny Asshat, basically any of the top QB class. Cyrus Kuandjio , Cyril Richardson, Marqis Lee, Jeremy Hill. Chris Borland (medical), Shane Skov. Max Bullough, Bradley Roby, Brandon Coleman

 

I get it take BPA CB / WR . However your pass rush makes a secondary look really good or really bad . Passing on Mosley & Barr May come back & bite you in the ass.

 

Add to that both CB and WR appear to be deep in this draft class.... I will really be a little pissed off if A.Barr is there and we Pasadena...

I like your self audit. A few thoughts on who I would like

4 James Hurst OT NC Was projected as a possible 1st/2nd round pick before injury
5 john Brown WR Pittsburg St If your going to run and play tough D, you need to have good special teams.
5comp Kasim Edibali DE/OLB BC Great 1st step and uses his hands better than Howard.
6th Henry Josey RB Missouri has played at a high level coming off a bad injury
6comp Jay Bromley DT/DE Quality player at this point in the draft.
7 Keith Wenning QB Ball St He can push the other two QBs and if he plays well in preseason he is potential trade bait

 

Only guy thats not listed there that i think is awfully risky in the first is Roby, and a little b and b with with the likes of shazere (sp) and...thats about it.

name me 3 players with higher upside, espeically given probably draft placement than Barr? i cant think of three. a year or two down the line, with a good coaching staff, barr could be the pick of the litter of linebackers from this class- a little bold but not absurd i think.

If barr is there at 17 for god knows what reason, ill be screaming at my monitor for the ravens to take him over mosely, ebron, and HCD.

Baramay - Not wild re Hurst - saw him get beat repeatedly this past fall.. and looks like lead feet to me.. If we are going more zone blocking.. hmmm

I do however like john Brown.. and Bromley the kid from Syracuse - he had a real nice senior bowl and OL had trouble blocking him - could make a nice DE in our 3-4 Defense - Like Wenning too - I bet he goes undrafted and would be a nice UDFA to look at and an additional arm in camp... Check the QB from Wyoming too...

I'm sure we all at some point have felt what they are discussing here, many of you do this every year but its quite the rush, I never was big on christmas as a kid but draft day- it makes you so nervous.

I guess Dominique Easley might fit that bill. He has no chance of getting drafted by the Steelers, but he's one of those tiny, quick Florida DTs. Dri Archer is lightning-fast, but unless he's just a return man, his size is a huge obstacle to overcome. Guys like Dexter McCluster aren't the norm. Guys like Jerious Norwood are.

I think Benjamin takes a massive tumble. Those are some damning things that happened to him in the offseason. Besides which, he isn't athletic enough to be a high-caliber NFL WR.

 

Stuck watching ESPN. Aside from the continuous rubdown of Manziel, Tom Jackson really just disappointed me. They showed a highlight of Manziel against Alabama duck chucking a pass with horrible mechanics that was only a touchdown because Mike Evans made a great catch and run and Jackson said this is the reason why Manziel should go #1. Does Jackson know that the highlight was a horrible throw and was only completed because Evans bailed his ass out?

 

By the way, are we making a separate thread for the draft or are we keeping everything in here?

 

Maybe im the only one who is bored and therefore spamming refresh over here as well as thinking too much, but im starting to think bridgewater doesnt fall as far as we think he will, and by we, i mean the draft nuts and the like, at the end of the day i like him more than manziel, carr and i think bortles too...at least on tape, smallish frame maybe puts him behind the likes of bortles but if the browns pick this kid up at 26 i feel like they would have gotten a massive steal
