Probably a good depth pick for CB. I don't like him in the 3rd round but I know you didn't have a lot to choose from with that pick. I guess it's consolation that he was only a few picks away from the 4th round. Too bad Phillip Gaines went just a few picks earlier, he would have been a fantastic 3rd round pick.

I actually think the Steelers are high on Cockrell, and like you said end of 3rd, comp pick is technically top of the 4th. Last year they had LeVeon Bell much higher than we thought, so we cannot always go by draft sites to guess their board. Since I was in a Parking lot at a Pinball show in a rainstorm, I missed a CB rated higher than Cockrell, Jayken Watkins. Forget WR in this Collaborative after 15 and up to 97, it was dessimated. I like Huff in the 4th, looked good at the Senior Bowl practices. 5th round, shoot me some PM's, I am HOME now, and can actually particapte from a chair not a car seat.

There is no way I would use the 15th pick on someone to be a backup for 4-5 years.

Pete Schrager of Fox Sports has the Steelers picking Hageman in the 1st round. Reason: One scout said he has the athleticism speed, and smarts of a J.J. Watts. He also picked the 2nd round and has Dennard in it, 2nd by the Redskins in the 2nd round. He also has Varrett and Fuller going late in the 1st round. Then he has the Steelers picking an Offensive Gaurd (Boitano) in the 2nd round. Which I just can't see the Steelers taking anotherv OL that high after the have already drafted a bunch high OL not long ago. With Pouncey back and the years experience they got last year, I think the OL is fine. CB or WR seems more likely to me. Too me. the Steelers need a WR or CB. Many might be taken before they pick in the 2nd round so I hope they have some sleepers, high on their Board. *WRITE*

Yardbarker has the Steelers picking Dennard if he's there. They think he's the most talented CB in the draft. Dennard says he plays by the rules. He played by the rules in college and can play be the the NFL rules. He says he can run the 5 yards befiore making contact and can cover after that. Seems Dennard has a pretty high esteem of himself. Which is not a bad thing....There are so many difference of opinions by different mocks about who will draft who....

Schrager is whack on crack. No way are they looking at Botonio with a guy who can play 4 spots on the OL in Beachum. They have OL talent, just need Mike Munchak to coach them to their potential. If they went OL in the first round I would rather go Zach Martin, he will be a plug and play OG for the next 10 years. My pick however is to NOT take OL or even sniff them until the 5th round. CB is a big hole, and right behind it is DT.

Could you elaborate on the Kirksey pick? He was not much of a pass rusher in college, he looks more like a 4-3 OLB, fast but light.

I think Ben has enough good years left that they don't have to worry about his replacement for a while. I would also rather have a proven guy in Ben then take a chance on a rookie. Too many 1st round QB busts. Keep the franchise QB they have and not roll the dice on Bortles

  19. smcndfan Franchise Player Steelers

I think Bortles will be a top 8 pick

  20. I have the Vikings moving to #2 for him.
