I don't want Ebron. I don't think they need to use the 15th pick on a #2 TE. If they didn't have Heath Miller then yes.

If those guys are gone....Pitt's in trouble cause the next pick would b a reach if they cant trade out....however, a reach is only if the guy turns out 2 b not good....I would take Benjamin.....big target for Ben and becomes immediate red zone threat

 

Bridgewater is falling fast because of a bad Pro-day. Teams are going back and looking at film on him a little closer and they don't like what they see....Carr is supposed to have a better arm, good character and hard worker......He's needs worked on by the coaches for some things. Possible feet work, reading defenses, etc. Some mocks have Bridgewater in the 2nd round now.....Savage out of Pitt is supposed to be a riser! (Had to get that one in, haha). After the 8th pick there are no teams that need a QB until the Browns at 26, if they don't take one at #4....Some of these guys will fall late 1st round or 2nd round now, imfo......

 

Tenn, Zona and possibly KC(Smith not young) can all use a QB

I think my 3rd n 4th picks could be considered reachs, but overall I'm happy with what I got. Hit all the teams needs. No trading in this mock made it tough for me lol.

 

Can't complain about those picks, especially without knowing who else was available.

 

Someone always falls if those DB's are gone it means LB's fell (Barr or Mosley may be available.)

 

2 db's flying up mocks: Deonne Buchannon & Phillip Gaines. Every freikin' year I mention a potential sleeper and they move up out of range. *REF*

 

I think your 2nd round choice is a huge reach also Memphis, I'm thinking he's 3rd round, maybe even 4th.

 

Barr would b a great fit, but do they actually take bak 2 bak OLB in the 1st round? I guess they would b set for many yrs if so and 2 playmakers on defense

 

Tennessee has Locker, a young QB they picked last year or the year before. They won't take a QB if they can fill another need.
Arizona is marginal. There are QB's that can be picked up in the 2nd round.
Same goes for K.C. They might want to fill a bigger need considering there is probably not a starter in the lot this year and many QB's can be had later.
Manzeil is the only wild card. He has the arm but there are many different opinions on whether he'll go early.

Edit: Rodgers was supposed to be an early pick and he fell to the bottom of the 1st round also. (just an example)

The team that is in the best spot in the first round IMO is the Dolphins if these QBs fall. They are sitting at #19, one spot ahead of a team that would absolutely jump on a guy like Bortles or Carr if he's there. If I'm the Steelers and the Jets or Dolphins call I'm listening.

 

They have until May 3rd to pick it up. Tough decision, it's only guaranteed for injury so they could always just pull it back - but that could turn into a mess if he suffered a serious injury late in the year.

 

absolutely correct, I have Tenn and Arizona as in the QB hunt. Second day and beyond, Cincinnati is listening. Brady is winding down, Mallet is not the savior, don't crap a sailboat if Hoodie goes QB in round 3.
Best case Scenario is 3 QB fall before Pittsburgh along with Donald, who is a great player but would be ineffective in the Steeler's scheme.

Also if Donald gets by Chicago, I'm listening, because Dallas has the next pick after Pittsburgh.
I would absolutely love for Colbert to get back that 3rd rounder, or heck another second rounder. I am sold on 3 safeties in this draft, one of them could now match draft spot. (Bucchanon, Pryor, Brooks) and I'm lukewarm on Jimmy Ward only because of his level of competition. The question is who is salivating over Donald? Has to be a 4-3 team that needs DL help in the worst way. possibly the Eagles at 21. However they are hurting for wideouts, so I see them targetting Beckham or Cooks.

If you watch path to the draft long enough, you see a pattern. They did not sell out to their audience but they are playing to it. Giving us buzz from NFL sources. I know it's good intel but really I want Mike Mayock breaking down film, not DJ and Baldinger moving tiles around a teams board for their first 3 picks. (it's sort of beginner level crap that bores me.) I want them to go to rounds 4-7, give us some picks for teams that make sense, Not every team,, but at least some insight into day 3 when the draft is won and lost.

 

Unless they plan on using 3 OLB on the field at the same time or letting Worilds leave after this season, Barr doesn't make much sense.

 

Yes Worilds wuld b trade bait or cut if they get Barr....

 

Nobody is saying 3 OLB, but what if they slid Jones inside, Barr at 15 truly would be BPA and I would not have an issue with it. With Worilds and his injury history, it's like insurance in the bank.
