Looking at some guys after you, had you not gotten Minter I would've said Klein would've been a good pick and Hodges is another guy I like.

For me I would've went with Conner Vernon but I can't really argue against King that much.

 

Since we don't have a big board, I went with Scout Inc. King is rated 11 WR higher than Vernon. LIke bb said, we saw him play, we liked his hands, his routes, and the game tape. I did not see Duke Football in 2012 so I went with who was rated highest of the players I am familiar with.

The Steelers need to go QB, try to pick up a diamond in the ruff starting in the 3rd rd......Ben might be only 30, but after the motorcycle wreck, numerous hits and concussions, he has the body of a 35 year old man easy.

I hear that they are interested in Dysert out of Miami(ohio), same school Ben is from. That's not going to be until later though.

I agree with picking up a QB in the draft, but not anywhere near the 3rd round. I would pick someone up starting in the 6th round. The Steelers have too many issues on depth to use a 3rd rounder on a backup, when you got Gradkowski on the roster already.

Dysert of out Miami (OH) would be a value pick late in the draft.

With Grad in... I dont think we need to draft one at all.. Bring someone in as undrafted free agent (kid from Tulane for example) or one of the many free agents that are out there.. this is for the 3rd QB and/or a camp arm - I just do not want to see any draft pick on a QB.. and Diamond's in the rough just dont happen very often..... so why waste the pick... I'd rather see players brought in to compete at need positions at this point (6th and 7th round) another SS of CB or TE or WR and yeah - we should be at the point to look at RB

I agree with BBall here, but if they are going to I don't think we should bite until 6th - UDFA.

 

I haven't fallen off of it yet but I've got one foot off. Guys like Cooper, Vaccaro and even Werner are guys I'm starting to prefer.
