I'm not sold on Pryor like the rest of you guys, so I think the idea of picking him at 15 is almost ludicrous. Recent contract deals and personnel releases have convinced me that our top three personnel needs now are DE, CB, and WR, as opposed to DE, ILB, and WR like it was. If they cut Foote, they clearly believe in Vince Williams, and if they haven't (or won't) cut Taylor, they don't believe in the depth at corner that much. There aren't any DEs worth picking in the first round either, so my top pick is Dennard. Then I'd take Moncrief in the second and hope all the five-techs don't evaporate by our next pick.

Demo, I know you are huge on DL, Why is Taylor Hart slipping so much? I thought he was graded as a 2nd-4th, but I've seen alot of mocks having him go later than that.

Hey guys a TE sleeper, that we should keep an eye on is Blake Annen out of Cincinnati, we need to look into him a little more.

He broke his foot during training for the Combine, hence also why he only did the bench press. I really like him, though (I included him in several team mocks I did), and this could be sort of a blessing in disguise for whoever picks him late.

Absolutely. His 40 suggests he has the speed of a wide receiver.

You got me on the runs support but really if you ask me LeBeau plays off-man, ie; don't get beat deep. I think Dennard may have a few yellow flags, he's on the grabby side. Gilbert has the better footwork and hips, JMFO.

On Mosely, they just released Foote. With the tag on Worilds, I sort of doubt they look at Barr now.

At least people are now starting to drop Nix III on the mocks, he was NEVER a top 15 pick.

I am with bb, at 15 DIx will be off the board, Pryor, although I like him, not sure of the value. One thing to remember about Buchannon, he had some off the field stuff early on. Being a deep WR class, I am not convinced teams rush right in and grab a wideout, other than Watkins.

I think the Seahawks showed the way to beat the potent passing offenses is press coverage to disrupt their timing. LeBeau or no LeBeau, time to emulate what works.

We've done it before with LeBeau. That 2011 Patriots game is one I'll never forget.

  10. Woodley just got released, OLB could be a bigger day 2 need now.

I don't agree. It simply becomes a need, and a low-priority depth need at that. I don't think Woodley's release is terribly substantial from a draft standpoint, and it may have actually helped long-term.

  12. Even with Woodley I would have said not later than the 4th. Woodley if back was just another body, now they don't even have any one if Jones or Worilds gets hurt and that proposition scares me. If one goes down for an extended period of time that will be disastrous.

Me thinks it frees up The Money to sign Delmas. Barr back in tne discussion now.

I read Roc's post on pro days thread. Better snap him up before Hoodie does .(he was @ Cincy's pro day in person)

  15. Well that all depends on what gets added to the position. They're gonna be on thin ice if Chris Carter is the top backup again.

Steelers sign Mike Mitchell formerly of the Panthers to a 5 year $25 million contract.

I say yes, when polamalu retires we'll have Shamarko and Mitchell as the starters, you need one for depth.

I never heard of this guy - Mike Mitchell..

    oh well...

this signing does nothing for me..

Really?? He's the biggest 2nd round reach in drafting history. Al Davis Whack on Crack Special. I think he went to Ohio and played in the MAC, from
    Memory, not google-ing.

  20. nybites M.V.P. Steelers UCONN

Okay I still got it, he played for Carolina last year but was pick 47 in 2009 when Al Davis was beyond insanity.

Ha ha Dix off my @15 list & Pryor as well . Don't sh.it a sailboat if they pick Anthony Barr.

In the hat: Mosley, Ebron, Evans, Gilbert.

Hoping Pittsburgh signs Al Woods :-X
