My gut tells me either Dennard or Ebron. I think the Steelers still want a Patriots like offense with 2 great TEs minus the murder rap sheet.

BPA I've got a list of. 4-5 picks @ 15: Evans. Mosley, Ebron. Pryor. Barr(that make sense)

Kyle Shanahan will push for Cousins. He is more familiar with the offense & is more proven than the 2014 QB's in the draft. Of course it's a WILD guess but ..... The Browns need a QB and Washington needs picks

I still love Dennard. He's not the greatest athlete out there, but he has been an impact player. Ebron is pure talent, but there's just something about him I don't like. Attitude maybe?

  5. crextin Franchise Player Browns

Perhaps Shanahan will lobby for Cousins, but I realistically don't see the Browns giving up more than a 3rd for him.

Makes sense. Personally, of the players listed I would go defense all the way. Mosley probably won't be there, same for Barr. Pryor, Dennard, Ealy... it will be really hard to miss on a defensive player this year at #15.

Nice job on that mock, NY.

Tim I have to check my notes but SF is not taking 2 tall CB's back to back. I have a change I' ll
Update it when I figure out why my PC did not save the change
And what the change was. *WRITE*

Anyone, thoughts on Manziel @ 20 to AZ ?

I think it's a bold prediction, but just cannot think of a reason for it to happen! I can see a scenario where he falls to the 2nd round where he is picked up by Jacksonville (if Garrapolo is gone), Cleveland, or Philadelphia.

It is also possible that one of those teams moves up to grab him earlier in the 2nd round as a possible value pick, although I wouldn't see him as a value until the late 3rd or later...

Maybe they will trade a 3rd round pick to move up and get the punter

I like it. I can totally see a scenario in which Manziel doesn't get picked in the top 10 at all, much to the horror of Kipers everywhere. Bold and believable, like a good mock should be.

Also the Jets should be taking David Yankey Si'a FIlo is listed twice

Barr has been a top 7 pick since the fall and really didn't do anything to
Hurt it. Mack is a riser for sure but because Mayock says "he's the man" teams don't always agree . I happen to like Mack over Clowney but this is an exercise in guessing what teams will do. Kiper sucks because his narrow mind never deviates from his own board. He fails epically every year because he locks onto players . You want a mock that thinks outside the box, that would be my mock draft .

Prisco on CBS has Gilbert and Dennard going right before the Steelers pick now. I like Dennard better and think he can be coached to not take penalties. This CAN be coached. He's physical and a big hitter and can cover his side. Do you think 1 of the 2 will still be there when the Steelers pick or should they try and move up a bit? Bites, I know you like Gibert better but I think Dennard fits the Steelers style of play better......But I'll take either one.....

I think a starting corner or receiver is a must (if Sanders goes, which is likely). I also think Dennard can start right away and he would be my choice....Of course there are many corners in this draft and the Steelers might go for a top receiver and pick up a couple of corners in the early later rounds. If that makes sense, imo

  15. nybites M.V.P. Steelers UCONN

    Gilbert for 3 reasons.
    1. Length and long speed
    2. Plays off-man, Dennard is a press CB
    3. Explosive returner

I think they would pick Mack, and it would come down to who could drop into the zone better when needed, and I think Mack is way more fluid when doing so.

Every CBS analyst now has Pittsburgh taking FS in the first round... either Clinton-Dix or Pryor. I wouldn't mind Pryor in that spot, but most or all of them still have CJ Mosley and Eric Ebron still on the board. Where would you guys lean on the choice of those 4 guys?

  18. Steelroc74 Franchise Player Steelers

The 3rd reason is a big one.

can't you make a case that Dennard is the better fit

    1. More Physical, sure tackler
    2. Is a press corner, helps disrupt the timing patterns run by teams like the Patsies and the Broncos.
    3. more confident in supporting the run

Ebron rubs me the wrong way for some reason, I get the fealing his Ego is going to get in the way, and you can get a TE later in the draft. It would be between CJ and Pryor for me, and I'd end up going with Pryor, I don't think they're convinced golden is the guy. Why not bring Pryor in to learn from one of the best to ever play the game.

I feel the same way re Ebron for some reason.. and I really like the safety from Washington State - Bucannon.. who can be had later ..... so I'd lean toward C.J.Mosley out of that group - but then with the word that Sean SPence is way ahead of where they thought he be.. maybe looking at one of the CB's should also be an option #15.. or a DL...

    enjoy,

    one of the idiots
