is Gaines actually projected to go in the 5th? If they get him there that's the steal of the century!

You know how it is. These sites project 75 guys to go in the first two rounds (64 picks). I've seen him projected in the 4th but I like Moncrief better so I'm hoping he drops.

    beach,

I'm not a fan of Jernigan and I don't think he fits the 3-4. You think Moncrief is the next Anquon Bolden? There is going to be a run on OT starting in round one and into mid round two. RB's are NOT going to come off until later, like 2013. But once the CB start to come off, watch out, especially the taller CB's.

I stand by Pryor, if you miss on him, there will be a run on safeites because by my estimation, and looking at Daniel Jerimaiah's list. at least 14 teams need a Safety.

Anyone looks good on YouTube if you put highlights only. I see potential and a connection . However, SD is incorrect because Draftek in fact does rate him as a. 5th rounder.

  8. Yeah nyb does make a good point about youtube videos. A good thing to look for is videos that show every play of that player from a certain game because it will show good and bad

Remember we got sucked in once when Jarron Gilbert jumped out of a pool? That Chad Spann highlight reel I posted was just that, highlights.

  10. Just a heads up, I already put out a list of QBs for the board and will do the same for WRs but the individual scouting reports will be on the draft section of this site once they are all written and published. Bridgewater's is already up and is serving as the model we're using.

  11. Dulac says the Steelers told Ben they intend on drafting a tall receiver early.

"Early" probably means first two days. In that case, they have their pick, especially in round 1 or 2.

They gotta double dip at CB and get a S in the first few picks. Hoping this is a smokescreen and they pick up a WR in the 4th or later rounds.

I am really looking forward to seeing what the future brings in who gets cut, extended & who takes a pay cut.

Hoping Taylor takes a paycut to retire a steeler AND so he can help groom a first round stud.
Hoping Worilds is resigned for long term AND woodley stays to help tutor a later round OLB/DE tweener (before being cut next year).
Hoping Clark comes back for cheap if not buh bye.
Hoping that Moye, Justin Brown and Wheaton show enough to put off the possibility of picking a WR in the first few rounds.

Time is going so freaking slow.

I don't know who we is, but I know that wasn't me, those are gimmick videos ( hey look ma no hands) those kinda videos in youtube is like watching a NBA prospect jump over a car and dunk......congratulations impressive but how does that translate into skills that a team can use.

The clips they showed you from youtube were a variety of clips some were bad and some were good. He did have a sack in the Alabama game against one of the top OT's coming out this year. I'm not saying we need to grab him in the first 3 rounds, but I think the steelers should strongly consider this guy late 2nd day or 3rd day.

Detroit cut Nate Burleson. I guess they will be looking for a WR in the first round.

I doubt he will be there in the 4th. I would take him with the 3rd round comp pick if there. I think he will go somewhere between late 2nd and mid 3rd. I would not be disappointed taking him in the 2nd, although I would prefer to trade back in the 1st with Miami to pick up their 3(14) or trade back in the 2nd and take him then.

I think Moncrief would be a great compliment to Brown. Also and very important, he seems to have a team first mentality that will fit well with the Steelers.

That was true before even Burleson was cut. Also 2nd round 3rd round 4th round.. any round looking for WR, amongst many other positions.

    Need bodies, let alone skill.

Detroit also cut Louis Delmas...he's had health issues, but at the right price, I would be interested in him. He's a playmaker in the secondary when he's healthy and he's only 26 years old.

Watkins isn't going to drop unless he does something really dumb between now and the draft! He's one of the best WRs I've seen coming out of college in years! He's as close to a sure thing as there is in the draft!

At the right price, I'd be interested also. I wonder what is going to happen with Pittsburgh's cap situation.

From what I hear Giants might be cutting Antrel Rolle.
