Poll time! If we pick 11th overall and the draft were to go like this:

    1. Jaguars - Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
    2. Texans - Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA
    3. Falcons - Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
    4. Vikings - Brett Hundley, QB, UCLA
    5. Rams - Khalil Mack, OLB, Buffalo
    6. Buccaneers - C.J. Mosley, OLB, Alabama
    7. Browns - Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon
    8. Bills - Cyrus Kouandijo, OT, Alabama
    9. Raiders - Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame
    10. Giants - Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina

Which of these five players do we pick?

    Johnny Manziel
    Sammy Watkins
    Taylor Lewan
    Mike Evans
    Vic Beasley

    My vote is with Evans.

Sammy Watkins or a write in for Cameron Irving.

Interestingly, Beach, I too would pick Watkins. I felt like the only one who would pick him over Evans. Erving is great, but I chose to go with a more consensus top 5 remaining.

  5. Watched Jordan Matthews today, looked good deep and catching in traffic.

i'm tired of these mocks that say the Steelers need OL and DL help. bullsh.it I'm calling them out. what they need is a funkin' CB, sorry guys Ike is now a liabilty. At some point you cannot keep saying "he had a bad game" because when you string a bunch of craptacular games together, simple math equates to he SUCKS. He lost it somewhere between his injury and the Fall of 2013.

Yeah okay Desir may be there at 97. Roby has had off the field issues, Purifoy has under-achieved, some of the other top CB's are midgets, I have to really look at the list and figure out how to get BPA and get the Steelers a solid CB. In hindsight, Keenan Allen would improve this team over Taylor, but I think he wanted to go back home to New Orleans, regardless.

  7. I have a front row to hopefully watch Manziel get his ass kicked tonight. Michael Sam and/or Kony Ealy on Matthews will be good.

I think you meant Keenan Lewis. We definately need CB help, we might even double dip in this position, although it's not the best draft for CB's.

Good deal, I'll let you know when I have that second ticket in hand Lyman is mailing it to me.
As far as the list to pick from, I would pick Watkins, but that list would NOT be my top 5 BPA for sure. Van Noy, Kuandjio, Evans, Haggeman would be my top 5 on the board and it would not include Johnny Dihkwad and I am NOT a Taylor Lewan fan at all.

Watched Uconn beat Rutgers today, their OL got healthy and they finally got time to throw the ball. An undrafted kid I would like to see someone give a shot to is Geremy Davis,, size, hands, goes up in traffic. Speed and route running would have to be looked at, but this kid can play football. No way Jose does Yawin Smallwood get past round two, too good a ball player that will fit any scheme.

It's hard to know who's declaring and who's not from the junior class, right now Drafttek only has 5 juniors in their list of CB's. I hope some good juniors will be declaring.

How about the Auburn punter? Holy cow,, two punts inside the one to pin Alabama deep. The FB Prosch is doing a good job and Auburn has 2, count them, 2 RB over 100 yards.

Okay then Amari Cooper 99 yards, how does Nick Satan do it,, I guess that missed FG was vindicated. *YES* I just wanted somebody else other than Alabama in the BCS Championship, pretty much FSU will beat Duke, they're not a lock, but have an opportunity in front of them.

with that said, anyone know of any updates on the Rape charges on Winston and will it effect his eligibility in January ? I am NOT condoning rape or his innocence , just want to see 'bama go down.

Yeah I meant Lewis , DOH.

The triple option!! 3 missed FG's one heckuva game!

  15. nybites M.V.P. Steelers UCONN

Come on it was. 0:00 waste of time cause they ain't kicking no FG

    Glad I taped that game!!!

forgot to set up the dvr for Mizzou vs. Johnny Assfungus, I see the Tigers ahead of the Phaggies by a TD how is Sam and Ealy doing vs. solid OT's? Did anyone cream Manziel yet, I want to see highlights were he's hit so hard his shoes come off.

I understand why Watkins is rated over Evans, but which WR would be a better fit for Pittsburgh? Don't they have enough speed and shifiness and lack height and posession targets in the red zone? Also when the firetruck is Matt Spaeth coming back, or did I miss something.

Down goes Johnny Assmunch, AGAIN. yah baby, he got MIZZOU-ed. Cannot wait for him to play in the NFL where bigger, faster, tougher guys will turn him into another great College player who wins the Heisman and then sucks like a Dyson.

It could be that big receivers just aren't a fit for the Steelers' offense anymore. We seem to run an offense where catching and running is the modus operandi now. Watkins is the best in the draft for that. Maybe I'm wrong and we could really use a player like Evans regardless, but it doesn't seem like he'd naturally fit here.

    As for Spaeth, beats me.
