Also for A&M we have to watch Jake Matthews he's a top 5 pick. Interestingly enough I like Cyrus Kuandjo much more than Walterfootball. I think he's right behind Matthews but ahead of Taylor Lewan. Michigan rolls into Renshler Field on Sept. 21st, I am expecting a massacre.

Watched some of the Raiders vs. Seahawks, wow, Seattle is loaded with talent, they have drafted really well. An old face popped up from our first draft of 2008, Rashad Jennings of Liberty. He plays for the Raiders and looks good. Spencer Ware is PS bound, or flat out cut. They are loaded at RB. Update: Ware was cut, but they still have: Marshawn Lynch, Christine Michael, Robert Turbin, Dereck Coleman.

Meh this regime has had their share of stinkers too. Bruce Irvin, Carpenter, Moffit, Curry. They definitely went all-in the last couple of years with all the free agent additions and trades. The problem with going all-in is if you don't win it. When Percy Harvin's 11M base salary kicks in next year someone is going to get whacked. Then they have to worry about re-signing Golden Tate, Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas and Russell Wilson.

A guy I have seen all over the place today is Khalil Mack, OLB, Buffalo. Kid has a relentless motor. A lot of speed for a LB and he can bull rush if need be.

  7. Johnny Football got flagged for getting in the face of a couple of Rice players.

What a punk, no wonder he didn't get voted captain. I can't wait to boo him on 11/30.

The kickers in the ND vs Temple are horrifically putrid. Troy Niklas TE LOOKS GOOD. Also TE from Temple is a nice receiving TE, Delaroach, hey NBC has a good crew w/ Mayock , Hines Ward, Doug Flutie

Hey Loius Nix is not ALL-WORLD. I'm Liking the DE Tuitt as a fit for Mitchell. His motor can be kept revving he's got phenomenal upside.

A lot of pre-season top picks are laying eggs. The only top ten I liked this weekend is Jake Matthews. Watching Clemson, lots of talent on the field except the LT for Georgia sux

Man the Georgia FB Quayvon Hicks is someone I'd like blocking for the Steelers. 93 Clemson, Crawford, having a great game as is the RB #25 McDowel. THe OC for Georgia should be fired, way too predictable and Aaron Murray cannot handle heavy pressure.

  15. Tajh Boyd had a great game vs. Georgia. He's undersized but other then that I love his skill set.

Teddy Bridgewater also lit it up today. If I'm Oakland, Jacksonville or the NYJ sitting at #1 I take him.

Going to the Pitt vs Florida St game tonight- I'll report in sometime Tuesday - Florida State has a number of players. Pitt has a few too that I'm interested in seeing play - one is a WR - no not Devin Street - Boyd the freshmen from Clairton.

    enjoy,

Louisville, if they stay healthy, has a shot at a BCS title, Teddy Bridgewater is the clear cut, no doubt in my mind, @1 overall pick in the 2014 draft.

Sadly ESPN televises these games, however Matt Millen and Mark May went OFF, I mean they just ripped apart Johnny Manziel and it was justified. I told you last year I hated this punk, now his true colors are coming to the forefront, and if his head was any bigger he wouldn't be able to wear a helmet.

I hope Heisman voters take into account leadership and character, Bridgewater is just a good kid and would represent the trophy with honor. Manziel on the other hand, deserves the wins, but no awards. If you're going to be the biggest d0uche in sports, not just NCAA football, then expect some backlash. When I start siding with ESPN analysts, then you know you have to be the biggest jerk in a uniform NOT named Alex Rodriguez.

back to football, nice to see Dyer getting his legs wet again and his life in order, Coach Strong is the real deal, Louisville has a nice program and following. FOr Ohio, not much, great kids, great heart just physically inferior and over-matched. Two guys in the secondary I liked for Louisville, #29 Hakeem Smith and #13 James Burgess. Burgess listed as a LB, to me he's really a SS. Actually if you look at the Louisville roster, almost all their LB are small but speedy.

I'm sorry you had to witness that debacle by Pitt, The FSU freshman QB had a sensational opening week of his career, your boy Street had a really good day though 6 - 141 or something around that in a losing effort.

I saw the INT by #93, Clemson plays a 4-3, how did he do getting pressure on the QB, it was a great game, definately someone to watch, it definately shows he can drop into space, and displayed good hands no bobble.

Crawford can get to the QB, and has good size 6-5 270 to either grow into a 5 techinque or stay a this weight and play OLB, really liked his game. I also like his backround at Hargrave Military Academy, sounds like a well grounded young man. Given the success of Cortez Allen, I think a military backround or influence would be a plus when we look at prospects. Sometimes it means squat though, Eric Kettani got cut by the Redskins :(
