Steelers Draft and Mel Kiper sucks thread!!

Was hoping for a second WR but way too early for a QB.

 

round 4 get the pitchforks , light the torches, I want to Medieval on the south side

 

Count me in the "don't mind a quarterback in round 4, but wish it hadn't been Jones" camp.

Not sure I liked any of the QBs left as fourth round picks.

 

And redskins take the guy I wanted.

 

50 was better than 100 by twice as much he has ball skills in the deep middle

 

I don't understand a QB at any point. They signed Gradkowski to a 3 year deal. What do they need a QB for? This is frustrating - very frustrating.

 

yeah and he's 4" taller.... WTF...

Like the Shamarko Thomas pick. Hate the Landry Jones pick.

 

im giving them a D+ for this round including mortgaging 2014

I'm seeing that the knock on P.Thomas is poor tackling. We all know how highly the Steelers value good tackling in their secondary, so that seems like a pretty good explanation for S.Thomas over P.Thomas.

 

what a suckfest so far all the other teams are drafting value, Pittsburgh is pulling picks out their ass

 

I don't get the hate with the Thomas pick. They'll still have a 3rd next year and Thomas could've been a 3rd round pick.

 

Burgh come pick my ass up, I don't mind the Shmarko pick after they traded up I thought they would've double dipped right after!

 

Plus he's a gambler. Doesn't fit our MO. I don't mind Shamarko and could care less that he's exactly 1" shorter than the guy the Ravens took in the 1st round. Standing side by side you wouldn't notice a difference and I didn't hear anyone complaining about his size.

Agree'd I dont like either pick.. Time will tell L.Jones is just an awful pick period.. He's going to be a #3 QB IF he can beat out Batch.. IF.. Batch has seen a lot of QB's come and go and he seems to always make it.. age is his biggest competitor - it sure aint Landry....

Bites try IMO every now and then. You have no idea who will be the better pro (Thomas vs. Wolff) and neither do I.

 

Batch isn't on the roster.
