I respect this position ....did you see where NASCAR owners came out and said if anyone sits on the anthem they are in trouble? AT least I think I read that somewhere.

The Ben situation has been going on since about 2011/2012 not sure why it's being brought up now with such intensity. I noticed it in 2012 specifically being in the stadium for the Raiders game in Oakland. Statistically he had what looked like a good game but he should have had over 500 yards passing against a pathetic Raiders defense as he continuously ignored open receivers underneath. When I posted about it many of u jumped down my throat about "what are u talking about?" "Ben or any other QB is not gonna be perfect" so on and so on......why is this now a problem? Please advise.

Maybe people were still giving Ben the benefit of the doubt because of his prior career success but man he has lost all benefit of the doubt now and I've been bashing him for the things you mention pretty regularly for quite a while now....not as long as Beach though :D

Ben is bombs away, screw the short passing game. When he isn't connecting on the long passes he seems even more desperate to throw them. He just isn't happy if he hasn't connected on a pass at least 40 yards. And if you won't throw short teams will just put all their priorities into deep coverage. Guys underneath are uncovered and he won't even fart their way.

What makes me the mad about that is that in the 2 minute offense, he throws short and it works. I understand that the D is running a prevent in that situation but he should still see on film what the opposition is doing the rest of the game. Of course, he may not watch film.

You know how many citizens of a country seem to stop giving a shit when their "leaders" are all con artists.....well likewise maybe many players stop giving a shit when they can tell the NFLs leaders are all con artists. I'm tempted to say I can think of 16 million reasons a year why our daft QB shouldn't be like that, but then maybe his 16 million reasons a year in part depend on him being this way too. Like I said in another thread I think the millennial kid Inwork with nailed it when he said the NFL is like the NBA now.
