The Los Angeles Kings played 37 home games in 3 locations during their inaugural season, going 20-13-4. They alternated between the Long Beach Arena and the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena before the brand new arena built by Cooke and known as The Forum would become their permanent home. In the first game ever at The Forum, they lost 2-0 to the Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers would end up finishing ahead of the Kings by 1 point.

Who is the only player in NHL history to score 100 goals, 200 assists and 300 points in the same game? Here's another: What recent rookie scored 6 goals in the 1st 6 games he played in? A feat that has never been duplicated since the NHL's ignaural season in 1917-18..... Theres 2 more more for ya :p

  6. Not sure if this is bad humor but ill play along. 300 point in one game must be that douche crosby

100 goals, 200 assists and 300 pts, in the same game? You lost me there, you mean in the same (1) game.

I could rent out a rink and invite my 5 yr old nephew and all his friends, and join in the game, and if I tried real hard and took it seriously, I could score 100 goals too.

  9. i assume it means he hit those three milestones in the same game.

Who were the "linesman" for the first period of the nj vs. whalers game on 1-15-83? and why? and why not the second and third periods?

I remember this question from a couple of years ago, there was a snow storm and the regular refs made it late to the game, I think that might be the answer, before I google it.

Didn't they play a game at Maple Leafs Gardens?

Btw, Alf was right. Malkin scored in his 1st 6 consecutive games as a rookie......
